I’m definitely ordering “Read the blah blah blah” shirt the second it is out
99
Wow awesome... where’s my green paint ??!! FYI - GK Interceptors have a 12” move and the teleport
As a Kansan, those two hangers were ceaselessly distracting 😅
Where are the army lists?
Oh Yea!
You heard it here folks da suck. Now everyone off the bandwagon!
Gg
"Read the blah blah blah" should be on your shirts
Hmmmm, is it just me or some Salamanders try to look like Dark Angels !? What's up with the lemon green... :D Mars Warzone looks fantastic tho !
"Read the Blah blah blah" is already my meme of the year!
Super pumped for this codex. I have 2000+ points each of Green Wing, Raven Wing and Death Wing, looking to forward to putting together some fun, fluffy lists.
What is green wing exactly?
Dark Angels Death Wing is their 1st Co. made up of Terminators and Dreadnoughts. They paint their armor bone colored. Ravenwing is their 2nd Co. made up of Land Speeders and bike units. Their armor is painted black.
Green Wing is everything else and they paint their armor Dark Green.
I think this game highlights something crucial: it’s not the army it’s the player.
Genuinely confusing tactical decisions made here, but also highlights that all the SM cry is a bit silly since ‘Crons and DG are bringing a lot of pain...
totally agree, but his rolling was atrocious
@@martinpfeifer7051 oh no doubt, that's a dice game at the end of the day aye?
Titans should take a leaf out of the Table Top Tactics and trim up their editing for RUclips, it's wonderful seeing the emergence of more 40K CCs.
The problem is half the armies are SM. It is way to much focus on them from GW and in play.
I understand GW can't have weekley releases for 25 armies in two big games plus all special games.
But it is way to muhc SM, GW even pushing them into AOS. Luckily half the players are not SM there.
@@ShahbazBokhari can’t edit a live show
Gaahhhh Triarchs are Dynastic Agents!!! Pains me to watch...
Secondary "Stubborn Defiance" -- That should be an Astra Militarum secondary also. Need a before game stratagem the enables 'steal a secondary'....
"Beat Them At Their Own Game" would be a good stratagem for armies that include an Inquisitor...
Can we also have Wraiths going “hehehehehe” in their Wraith form? 😹
Lots of rules mistakes with the necrons, but both for and against so maybe it evens out?
lets be honest. That necron list is SUPER tame and he still just vaporized him.
Every time I hear Deathwing mentioned I laugh a little at how easy they are to smite away. - Magnus
"Sounds good" times a billion....
Simply not enough monk robes...how can you play dark angels but not give em robes
You guys need to get a guest with a degree in theoretical fightanomics
I don't want to be salty but wtf is that secondary compared to the DG ones that doesn't seem fair at all. Is that too much of a snap reaction ?
praetorians can't gain dynastic codes....I wish they could though.
I think using Green Wing, DeathWing and Ravenwing mixed into one Battalion synergizes all the units best. You'll still have some units with Jink and Inner Circle, plus normal Troops for Obsec. I noticed having access to all the Strats combo well when all the companies are in one list, plus there will always be a Super Doctrine active for some units.
Your Rod of the Covenant doesn't get the additional range for Mephrit because they do not have the keyword
I don't understand how other folk's warriors seem so durable. Mine seem to just melt every game.
My first thought without any data or support is the amount of terrain on this table and the ones you are playing on may be not similar.
Chronomancer giving5+invuln also
No love for talonmasters? Talonmasters have been dominating all over TTS. They seem great!
Stubborn defiance should not be talked about tactically, GW has made a mistake on this one. No army should be given auto 15 point secondaries which you don't need to even think to do. It's disappointing so see rules like this, if you couldn't pick one in your own deployment it would be more balanced.
Wha? You need to hold it for the entire game to max it out. If you get interrupted on turm 3 you basically shot yourself in the foot on that secondary.
Strong codex. Sad for me because the only local DA player is a notorious cheater.
Cut his hand. Nice and traditional solution=]
Nice! “Read the blah blah blah” now my bio
If you use hardy har har in every game I'll love you forever
as a chaos player i see all these buffs and am hoping CSM will actually get a good buff
It's going to happen NO doubt
I'd love to see death wing vs deathguard wing.
love watching space chads lose any day
Honestly, I thought the Dark Angels list construction was poor. Yes, the codex has the three separate wings - but by not specializing in any one of them, you short change yourself. So, by attempting to "show all three," none were really shown. Also, leaving those bikes out in the middle... c'mon man.
This is a bad take. Dark Angels are just as viable in a tri-wing list as they are in a single wing formation. The wings are designed to work together and compliment each other.
I agree the composition didn't seem thought through but the problem wasn't having some of each wing.
@@r.j.macready really bad take. Deathwing was completely neutered for not being in Vanguard Detach. No reason to bring them if you don't run them in their Own Detachment. Thusly, you should probably Run azael as warlord, and Outrider-Vanguard and leave Greenwing to home.
Was that a Biden reference lol
kind of sad stuff like talent for annihilation has a cap of 3 mortal wounds when stuff in other armies just casually deal 10+ mortal wounds with no caps
laughs in bellasarius
Typical of Games Cuckshop.
Chaos sorcer with jump pack a DA librarian? Sounds dark angely enough.
Do a Arazel and 2 Librarians(Ezekiel), Leutenat, Ancient, Apothecary, Green wing with Hellblasters and (2x 5man) inceptors! And then just Deathwing! (maybe have one Deathwing Librarian for the 2x Librarians? )
I now have both armies haha
@26:00 = "Sir Lupo Redhelm"
Paint his helmet mephiston red and the rest of the model in SW colours.
Boom! Done!
I wanted to look up how much the Dark angels list you play would approximately cost me (the one in the admech vs. dark angels video) but I am already struggling on which packs to buy because it is confusing for a beginner...
I am not sure if this was addressed later but in the opening it was mentioned the Praetorians benefit a lot from the 5++ invulnerable save and reroll charges. They do not count as a dynasty unit so you cannot buff them with the Chronomancer unfortunately. The only way they can be buffed is with the named character as it specifically states "friendly Necron units" as opposed to the Chronomancer that states "friendly dynasty units".
I hope they redo the Ravenguard one somewhere down the line. It didn't age super well.
This was such a brutal one sided beat down, those Necrons yikes and the DA rolls where really bad
Every Brian mistake of which there were many is in his advantage, mhm...
heavy hitting is exactly what you dont want to take against deathwing. you should go for quantity over quality when shooting at them as you would do more with str 4 shots vs anything else as they can only be wounded on 4+.
2:05:04 The stratagem to ignore cover targets 1 enemy unit, so you can't benefit from it on both chaplain and captain.
Strongly wrong
Thanks for squeezing this one into your hectic schedule and answering my question (even if it wasn't clear I have 5 bladeguard not 3 boxes of bladeguard). Having watched how Adrian plays his Harlequins I look forward to what he can do with more time and his own build of Ravenwing.
How about a rematch between Deathwing and AdMech?
you do get reanimator 1st turn.. you get a command phase ..
1:20:00 or so. That's why if it's hard to measure I prefer just roll first and measure closer later. If you roll anything but 5 or 6 it's irrelevant. If you roll those time to measure closer. Generally I prefer roll first check details next. Spell cast on 5 or 6? Roll and if it's not obvious did it succeed or not check.
I prefer to measure first, in case it's a bit fuzzy on the required roll. If it's a toss between 7 or 8, I'd rather clear that up with my opponent before rolling a 7.
Good stuff
sword terrain near mid left objective 😁
2:03:09 Are we not doing phrasing anymore?
why can't i join as a member :(
Army lists would be nice to see
Battle Scribe has a Ledgedary Librarian on Bike, so if you take a Command Detachment(?), you could have a Librarian on Bike in your Ravenwing only army!
As in it’s in legends. Doesn’t mean it’s legendary... so not legal for any tournament play
U can reanimate even if the unit is complete wiped?
Nope
no.
The orb allows to rez (max dice) if a unit is down to its last model
The mood lighting is awesome
With all the chatter online about how strong this book is, I'm surprised at how badly the Dark Angels got borked here. I know the termies are stronger but still a surprise.
Never believe the mainstream hype
Necrons are the real sleeper army of 9th edition. Far scarier then SM
@@Waagghhboy they don't really have a bad matchup so far. Which may be the ultimate superpower in ninth edition
@@Waagghhboy yeah they seem really good, I'm surprised they don't have more tournament representation. Think their just aren't any great necron pilots yet?
@@cValle03 that's what I strongly believe, like at least they haven't shown themselves yet to the internet, still slumbering I dunno o.o
@@killmiky Richard seigler from AOW40k has put in some really good games with them, but outside of the best player from 2019 and TT I don't know anyone who seems to want to play them competitively
Where is the mat from?
warzone intro was awesome
Need an A.B. C. shirt
Wow those rolls :(
I get that as competitive players you are excited when something strong comes out, but when I hear "keep up with other codexes" i got a hard time hearing this, this codex does seem quite a hefty load stronger than others new ones
Don't you think some things like DW stratagems/relics/permanent transhuman is actually not "strong" or "powerful" but broken at some point?
I mean I remember the Iron hands 2 week FAQ and insta nerf, well to me the current DA seems waaaaaaay stronger than former IH
The Lion will soon come to the First Legion and take his belt of and hand it to Mortarion!
Hoping the Lions sword get Mortal wounds and ignores Inv save for the Bain of Deamons Fluff!
@1:25:09 "you moved up too close" Adrian loses another game to a straight up blunder? This isn't dice Bridgar 🥱
watching this absolute stomp was worth it just for the moment at @2:13:00 TTT at it's best.
Send sisters into deathwing!
It's hard to be excited when only space marines get buffs and the faction you got 5000 points in models is in the shitter without hope for an update this year
Hey man, its a new opportunity to mix up the meta. Hopefully in a few months we can all start getting games in again
@@zombietype0 fat chance, I main Tau, and we're so fucked it's not even funny anymore
@@Sir_Loin_Of_Beef I also have 5k of tau, I feel your pain tbh. But, you can still compete at tournaments, nto to win but you won't get auto losses for every game.
Also we just got a pretty huge buff, giving us one turn of fallback and shoot
@@zombietype0 on units that in the meta can't do shit. It's no fun theory crafting to limit the degree of your failure. We had the tigershark, got nerfed to oblivion, we had the riptide, nerfed tactical drones. Right now we got what? Crisis suits? That are less efficient and more pricy than a random terminator? No obsec, no infantry tag so can't use terrain. Fire warriors are a joke even by ig standards (and they're more expensive). One fallback and shoot doesn't fix it. Especially that if you want two you gotta take farsight, which is a useless faction in 9th. Fuck this game, fuck gw. I'll come back when they decide that intentionally nerfing a faction to the ground might not be the best idea
Damn I miss this because I was watching LVN.... It got boring and they broke then own rules about a list not being played by same player. Some army got to Round 3 because they were played extremely well by the same player round 1 and 2.
Great game, few errors on the tactics for the Dark Angles (but that’s to be expected first time round) also the dice rolls we’re shocking for the DA side. Looking forward to seeing the next DA game you guys play. One of the players in our group is a DA player and I’m looking forward to him getting his head round their tactics
Shame, I liked the video, but Necrons aren't just much fun to watch and play.
I found these guys Ram on 80% talking then we get to see 20% of game play can’t sit here for 4 hours for fuck sake
and yet, these guys are the most popular, and got the best quality wh40k content out there, most popular > your opinion.
lol thanks for your opinion dude 👍🍻 cheers
You don't have to sit here at all :)
@@0neKingD0wn They are good but content quality wise it doesn't hold up against Play On Tabletop's 40k in 30/40 minutes. Same goes for popularity at least based on subscribers and video views on average.
Then again Titans put out a lot more videos and Play On has long production times. Both are great still.
You guys really need to clean up the warzone intro. It's boring and adds nothing. Explain the terrain setup and line of sights or something else. Right now I'm watching and heading nothing
I understand that playing may different armies it can be difficult to remember it all, but it was painful to watch a squad of 5 Black knights turn one miss survivability because Adrian didn't use difensive stratagems on them to make only the Praetorian in the front fight and give them 5++ invul saves.
@@apollo5224 Linebreaker is only for infantry, so you can't use it on the black Knights.
Adrian salt detected on turn 1. Have a little self control there bud
