This happened to me as well, I'd been out of PE all year because I'd injured my knee, and my PE teacher told my mum "oh yeh he's been doing really well, he loves getting involved during PE" 🤣

I never understood Maths. Never understood Fractions specifically. 3 years of high school and I hadn't really understood it. 2 weeks with this one teacher teaching me fractions and I understood.
Teaching maths is a skill and honestly it cannot be taught. We're the few who are lucky to have found such great teachers.

My art teacher once forgot about my class so he didn’t show up to a lesson. It was clear that day who the good students were and who the ones who didn’t give a shit were because the good students did some art work and the other ones did parkour across the desks

title of the episode and what they said really struck a cord with me. i had terrible P.E. teachers, they were rude, inconsiderate and oversensitive, I honestly don't even know why P.E. is a requirement, at least not in the way its being taught

The P.E teachers are usually the best
One of the PE teachers I had in high school was great. He was a year away from retirement and just didn't give a shit anymore. Others really thought they actually served a purpose and were of value to society. Those ones were absolute pricks.
In fairness to that kid in the basketball team. I still have a chip on my shoulder about being overlooked for the relay team in Athletics and not winning one stinking trophy or medal for sports when I knew I was pretty good at what I played
My maths teacher got angry if we didn't understand and asked too many questions, and caned us if we didn't do the homework. I couldn't do the homework because I didn't understand the abstract nature of it all, and really didn't enjoy constantly getting six lines on my arse, so I just copied homework from another classmate for three years. When it came to my final exams I wrote my name and walked out. The next day the teacher came to me in another class and screamed in my face, swearing at me for not trying. Fun times growing up in South Africa in the 80s and 90s.

Loved my gr 1 teacher though. We learned French and about different cultures, we got cupcakes whenever someone had a birthday. The best.

I got one PE teacher he let my class get away with saying shit and he literally heard us and acted all cool cos the girl at the time fucked up so he understood
About the teacher stealing the jacket. And not trying to defend him or something. But I don't think someone would steal something and wait 2 years to wear it. What might have happened is he lost it. It stayed in a drawer somewhere cause nobody remembered it. And one day the teachers sees a jacket. Realizes that has been there for year and decides to keep it. Not saying he did well, but it seems more plausible than stealing. I know in our schools, the lost and found items would be send to charity after 3 years. Maybe the teacher thought "cool jacket! I will have some of that charity myself!" :D
