In case anyone is a nerd like me, I did some digging and the manual transmission cars dont have cylinder deactivation or auto start stop. On top of it being an understressed big 4cyl, these things will most likely have a more problem free life over the SI 1.5T. The blind spots on this car is WAY overblown.
I have 2021 Mazda HB with exact combination. It was almost everything that I was looking for (Stickshift, non-turbo engine, moonroof), I wished it comes with sedan, but I can’t complain much. It is decent fun to drive and perfect for everyday driving. I am not regret with my purchase.
Very useful videos that I like to add on, the dealer couldn’t even answer me this you know the Mazda app will not start at six speed, manual transmission it’ll do everything else, but it will not start the car. Nice little piece of information.
Manual transmissions require the clutch to be pressed when starting the vehicle to make sure it doesn’t stall or lurch into another car. I don’t think any manual transmission vehicle is available with remote start.
How tall are you bro? I’m 6ft 230lbs. Would I be comfortable driving this Mazda 3? I’m in the beginning stages of my research between this exact model, and the Honda Civic Sport Touring 6sp manual.
Nice informative video, especially value comparison to Honda civic, Acura integra. Considering this over Suby brz/ Toyota gr86 for year round sport oriented drive in Canadian climate.
I own this car and the sound quality is fantastic. I wish there was a mid adjustment as there is only base and treble, but its well balanced. Mazda is the only "A" tier ranked mainstream brand in 2024 for sound systems according to DM Sound's youtube channel. This car has one of the best Bose systems out there.
@@parnpichate Thank you very much. This car is the best quality car out there today and I plan on buying one. I have a couple more questions: How do the shifter and clutch feel and is the power enough?
@@scott5429 I'm not a car enthusiast so I don't drive on the edge or anything. That said, I don't like getting stuck behind slowpokes either and this car does just fine for zipping in and out. Its a little sloppy from 1st to 2nd but everything else is great. 2nd has a strong power band at like 3k. You'll like it just fine, but the real gem is how nice the interior feels.
@@parnpichate I don't know if you've driven a 2010-13 model Mazda3 but I absolutely love the feel and handling of those cars, and I really don't like the "mushiness" of modern car steering... how does this one feel?
@@sivyx22 The steering gives good feed back. Its not over-powered. One of the only complaints I have is that the breaks could be stickier. Other than that, I really love the car and would buy it again in a heartbeat.
Bought the car a month ago and I agree it's not a big issue but it's kind of annoying when cruising right around 1500 RPMs it shakes like it is in way too high of a gear and is going to stall but it's in the correct gear. Other than that love the car.
You are the first guy I've seen compare this to a Civic Si which was the other main vehicle I was looking at! You made my day brother

Purchased 2 months ago couldn't be happier.
Depends on your market, my 2.5 manual has Cylinder Deactivation and ISTOP - which you can turn off every time when you start the vehicle.
@bluewinds10 my 2024 model leaves all that stuff out. It's a US market model

Thanks for watching! Hit the subscribe button if you’re new and stay tuned for tomorrow’s review of the 2024 Mazda CX-5 Turbo Premium!
I keep my eyes open for that video bro.
I know this is stupid, but how do you tell if it’s dual panes? Will it say it on the window sticker?

You are good at this sir keep up the good work.
Thank you! 👍🏼
Insane Mazda bestie.
Good review and the big question I have is.. Is the cylinder deactivation "feature" capable of being disabled? It's not good.
Very helpful video. I'm torn between this and a Honda Civic Sport Touring with a MT
And the 323 was originally known as the GLC, my first car.
Great review. Thank you.
Excellent review. Keep up the good work.
Thanks man 👍🏼

Did you ever test drive one?
@@freedomovereverything1776 not yet. I plan on doing that soon.
I’m about 6ft 190 lbs so I think you’ll be perfectly fine!
That blue WRX looks awesome over there. 😂
Thank you for this review 👏👏👏 liked & subscribed
Well done!
The only two things i hate about this car are the cupholders and where they put the subwoofer

Thanks! This would be a good choice 👍🏼
that spoiler isnt standard on the premium non turbo model if that is a manual gotta pay 425 more dollars for that plus labor and taxes
Would like to see a review of the Turbo Premium Plus in the Sedan version, not hatchback.
I’ll keep my eye out for one 👍🏼

Save 5-10 grand on the civic si? It’s 2024
Is there any throttle hang? That’s irritating.
is there?
One day, I buy 2024 Mazda 3 hatchback car.
same
Anyone driving this generation Mazda3 with cylinder deactivation issues? That is the only potential fault I can see of this car.
I am. It’s not a big issue to me though you can feel it activate when cruising in 6 gear on the highway.
