Congrats man! It’s challenging at times, but so worth it. Also for the carseat, the middle seat is the safest for the baby, I know a lot of the installation was in jest but figured it was worth mentioning haha. Now you’re going to have to do the stroller test with each prospective new car instead of the golf club test 😂 Also you’ll be opening boxes of baby jordans instead of your own. Congrats again.

The carseat comes off the base and you buckle the base down with the seatbelt so you can take the carseat in and out also pull the seatbelt out all the way so it locks when retracting! Congrats dude!

Congrats Burlacher! I have been watching Strad for many years and now you. You two are great dudes and I enjoy the content you both put out. I work at a police dept in Indiana and I am a certified car seat tech. (Yes, car seat technicians are a real thing) I have been installing car seats for many years and as much as I would love to meet you and help you out Indiana to Utah is a little far for an install. Check with your local PD or FD and you might be able to get it installed for free. Best of luck, you will crush it as a father! ☮

Congrats! You do know that all newer cars have the anchors where a baby seat will click right into and it’s easy in & out.
Congratulations. I became a father at 20 years old and I was petrified. But it all comes to you when you see your baby and the daddy instincts kick in and you just figure everything out. And with the car seats 😂 it’s definitely a real struggle 😂 trust me after 3 kids I’m still learning how to put them stupid things in.

I remember that day lol. That instruction manual came in clutch. Also it should have built in straps that hook to the anchors in the seats.

All new baby seats have the LATCH system. There are metal loops on the bottom of the seat between the upper and lower seat. You don’t even need the seat belt.
