  • Jake Adams has been an avid marine aquarist since the mid-90s and has worked in the retail side of the marine aquarium trade for more than ten years. He has a Bachelor’s degree in Marine Science and has been the managing editor of ReefBuilders.com since 2008. Jake is interested in every facet of the marine aquarium hobby, from concepts to technology to rare fish to exotic corals. His interests are well documented throughout a very prolific career both speaking to reef clubs and marine aquarium events and writing articles for aquarium publications across the globe.

    This is an amazing share. it's fun to see how our equipment in the pass 2 decades have changed so much. Those big eye sore pump are like when the kids are playing consoles I used to dream of so long ago.

    Can someone point me in the direction of a "wavemaker"/gyre that will slowly ramp up over the span of 4 hours?

      I know you can with the Ai nero 5. The app allows you to customize ramp schedules.
