This is a life saver! My tablet's screen came off just last night and my uncle isnt here so I saw this video and did it and it works perfectly fine!

For some weird reason my phone's plate randomly started to come off and i could see the light under the screen from little cracks

I just had the top falling off, so I lifted it a bit, put double sided tape on both sides from the center, and pressed it down.
I didn't want to mess with glue, and also didn't want any tape to be visible, and it holds, so, yaaay.

just buy B-7000 glue and add some arround the frame... easier and you wont dmg the lcd if you want to remove. Easy to remove it with some hot air around 100-120 temp..
Thank you, firstly this has got to be the most terrible advice, to use double sided tape. For anyone wondering it'll just lift again after a short period of time.

Is there a risk, that the B7000/B8000 glue can damage the backlight?
Adhesive fails when device overheats? Or does it also have age limit? Or is the age dependent on time spent under heat?
The display of my sister's tablet fell off randomly from a 2019 year tablet. She didn't react to that with care, so the cable was not properly inserted into the display's slot for some time and finally the display broke, lost the touch capability thanks to short circuit I presume. Lasted 5 years.

Well I am glade I found your video for the past 2 years we have been weatherizing our windows and had left over double sided tape. I also considered using bathroom sealant (rubber compound which sticks to ceramic and glass).

on the left side of the phone my screen is about to pop up but its lifting or something. but when ever i take my phone off tthe charger after 100 percent, my phone turns off by itself and turns backs on with a 10 percent. sometimes it would just say it fully dead and it needs to charge. but when i charge it works perfectly fine and it doesnt turn off. does anyone know what happened?

Can you use Mighty Bond Glue in the edges of the screen? I'm planning to use something like that.
Norman33 yes it's normal for it to stick up at the edges, especially when using tape. the factory uses a rubber gasket that goes all the way around the screen (and they melt it on with a heat gun) otherwise people usually buy a plastic hard case for their phone/tablet to press down the edges.

I found out it was a protective piece needed for the lcd thing at the bottom of the phone

Good advise! people do tend to use super glue which could be very harmful when applied in the wrong place.

Why not just use some marine sealant adhesive? Not only will it stick to it, it will also waterproof it.

I had replaced my redmi note 4 damaged display with a new one (not original) but after few days it started to pop out.again and display also giving problem. Again I renewed with a new display which I ordered online but after some days it also started coming off .. does this problem is due to duplicate display which I am putting. I am ready to put a original one if this problem gets solved . Thanks
use b7000 or b8000 glue and before applying it be sure to remove the old glue and any dust

ive tried b6000 b7000. they are an option but i dont recommend. they dont hold good. after awhile comes loose. but at least no damage done. hardware store silicone worked better. but im going back to tape with tape in as many places including the middle to help hold down.

But the plastic midframe on mine is damaged so the screen has nothing to stay glued down to. I really need to build up the missing shattered piece of plastic so the LCD can adhere. Any suggestions?
electrical tape i used to make it a roll and place it on metal/rubber parts works good just might make the repair guys suffer

Srry lad it couldn't be u should just used a scotch tape then rap it around the phone rather than putting it in the internals since that might damage the display or the internal system parts
Where can I purchase double sided tape?
I bought double side tape, I'm trying to glue a new screen on nokia 6... but the contact surface is realy small... I think b-7000 is a good option if you can't buy B-8000 instead... if every thing is done you never gonna open your phone again.... until the battery start to fail... I imagine if you repaired the screen yourself.... your probably will change your batery your self too, so if double side tape was used at screen back surface instead on the sides of the frame... you may have to buy a new one... with this information in mind, invest on right glue may be good choise... but... double tape side never is a complete lost of money

Thanks for the updated info, I ended up using duct tape just to prevent further lifting, then I found these mobile phone fix people at my local shops who were going to fix it properly with that mp glue for $10.00 the guy popped the back off and the battery was bulging! He said this was why the front was lifting. New battery and resealed for $55.00 bargin, problem solved. Thanks again.

Thi is actually dumb using double sided tapes to glue poped out lcd's. Just use B 7000 adhesive glue . But using tape instead ? How long do you think ican hold on

Hey guys, it's been a month since my phone has broken. Same case as my screen popped out and I thought it was durable so I could be careless. Instead, my hands got slippery and dropped the phone. The screen won't work but the phone still active and alarm still ringing like hell... I have been trying a long time to find the solution but I found none of it.
