    Thank you for the effort to record this great video. You are a great teacher. It was the best 20 minutes I have spent on Audi service RUclips vids! Thank you.

    Thank's for the Q7 DIY, I have an S4 and even though its the same engine the air box and hoses are a tad different, so good video on how to make room on the passenger side!

    What size spark plug socket do you need? A 16mm?

    The dealer was charging me 2k to replace the plugs. Not the coils they said the coils were good.

      i figured out its 1-2-3 on the passenger side. 4-5-6 on the driver side. 1 and 4 are towards the front and 3 and 6 are towards the winshield

      for any others trying, this was very easy to install and saved me 400$ that was quoted by a local work shop (not Audi dealer, i am sure it would be have been even higher).

      p0304 was on the 4th cyclinder. swapped the 4th ignition coil with 3rd. Checked the OBD and it was still throwing the same error of p0304. I then knew it was the spark plug on the 4th cylinder. I put back the swapped ignition coil and then replaced the spark plug on 4th cylinder with a new NGK spark plug. Refitted everything back and restarted the car. No more errors were thrown and OBD also ran a clean scan. Drove for 15min and nothing problematic. Running smoothly now. Thanks to Total Technik for this vido, gave me confidence to fix it myself.

    Should I check the gap on pre-gapped plugs? Are they usually off?

    • @TotalTechnik
      @TotalTechnik  Год назад +1

      It's never a bad idea to double-check them as it only takes a few seconds and is good for peace of mind. Pre-gapped plugs are generally very accurate so you should be good either way, so it's all down to personal preference really :-)
