*ABOUT ME*
I graduated with a Bachelors in Chemistry and a Masters in Environmental Engineering. Currently, I work as a Water Resource Control Engineer for the California State Water Resources Control Board. My previous work experiences range from working as an Environmental Engineer for the US Air Force, a Cancer Researcher for a private R&D company, and a Teaching Assistant at my graduate school.
On this channel, I'll be sharing my story on what it's like being an Environmental Engineer, detailing the good and bad of the position. Some other relatable topics may include personal growth, job hunting, and other related environmental subjects.

I am currently in high school and thinking about majors, and would appreciate any advise. I want my future job to be something related to the environment /nature (not really waste water treatments like what you describe in your videos). By taking environmental engineering, I feel like I would be pigeon holeing myself (since my interests may change). I've heard you can take mechanical engineering for undergrad and then specialize in anything later since mech eng is a very broad field. What are your thoughts on this? Thanks!
My advice for anyone who is still iffy on fully committing to major in environmental engineering is to just major in general Civil Engineering, since env engineering is just a subcategory underneath Civil engineering. Civil Engineering is just as broad if ever you want to switch to any other engineering field or dive deeper into env engineering, and is just as difficult as any other engineering field. I wouldn't recommend env science because you might get paid less than a env engineering and do practically the same thing, and it's less flexible than env engineering if ever you want to switch to another environmental-related job.
hey bro,im Chinese ,can I get a good job in USA?
please reply, im a student and relly confused
My advice to you is to search up questions on how to approach your certain situation such as immigration/visa and whatever else on the internet. Maybe Reddit would be a good place to research, that's how I search for personal experiences.
Hi there my gf is an environmental engineer. She is Chinese and graduated from a Chinese school. Can you guide me the best way to pursue that
I am not an international student, so I dont have experience navigating your situation.
