This is great Sergio, I’d love to see some more tutorials from you. I’m slightly colour deficient, so colour grading has always been daunting for me but your explanations here are fantastic. I had no idea about the adobe colour wheel!
Both are great. I think it’s more a question of what you’re comfortable using, and if you want the learning curve of a new software. If I was just a hobbyist, I’d use whatever’s cheapest, but there are a few features that I do prefer in C1 over Lr. ruclips.net/video/kvsyMkm5HnM/видео.htmlsi=7v8A96CJPf434Wz-
@sergiopstudio thanks ill watch this! I love the learning curve of new software and having more tools under my belt, the main reason I love lightroom right now is that I can edit on both my phone and PC at home depending on if I need to get some edits done on my lunch from work which I find very attractive. Plus I can use my luts with my camera right from lightroom which is also huge! But C1 seems so intuitive and versatile can't wait to learn more!
@ if you watched the live stream of the match look introduction the guy tells you himself this speeds up workflow but is not for the higher end grading. It’s more like initial stages of editorial.
You know why he put the title. 😂 let the man get his engagement. You know if there’s secrets out there that nobody trying to share them. He’s just bringing attention something and it may possibly changed the game for him and this title might actually be super applicable to people who didn’t even know about this.
@ the industry needs to change and stop misleading people. I dislike the wrong type of gurus which is 99% of photog channels as well as retouching ones.

Happy and fruitful new year to you as well 🥳
Nice tips 🤝🏻
Thanks Christian! Best of luck
So I tend to do all my work in lightroom at the moment, what are the big differences between capture 1 and lightroom?

Great video thanks
Glad you liked it, thank you!
This is great info, but the video itself looks like it was shot in the emerald city.
ahh the city of opulence of course
Photo grades are pretty simple because of the raw sliders, NOW video grades is my biggest obstacle and the solutions are not that simple
Nothing has changed. This is the same stuff you were able to do before. This is not advanced grading. Match look isn’t there yet as well.
ok, thanks 👍
@ your reply means nothing and you know that. Weights on an image is something that can’t be done yet.
