Definitely should be. I could definitely go back several more times. Particularly for a backpack trip.

Another amazing hike. I like the idea of taking the boat ride in to allow more time and energy to hike further in. Knowing my wife, it would be a one way trip and we’d hike all the way back. Beautiful country… Thanks for sharing the….Expedition!

Did this hike a few days ago. Took the 7am ferry across and about 3.5 hrs and a little over 4 miles later we were about 1 mile shy of making it to lake solitude but the path was still covered in some pretty deep snow and we didnt have the right equipment to make it. There and back was about 12 miles total and took us about 7 hrs round trip. Best hike ive ever done and the views were incredible!

Hi, Scott & Heather. It is hard to see the dry lake. Drought is serious stuff. We have been dealing with drought in NM for years. Nice hike around the lake. It is beautiful and green there. I love watching your hikes. The lake looks nice. Pretty sunset. Thanks. *TYU*

Yes, the dry lake was a challenge to look at knowing what it looked like before. I just read an article that the Great Lakes are at an all time high water level. Thanks for checking in, Donald.

Can’t wait to do this hike in July. I also heard if you catch the first boat of the day, it’s half price!

    Scott & Heather,
The Tetons are someplace neither my wife nor I have been and from your video it looks like we’re going to have to move it up the list…
Always enjoy your adventures, you’ve taken me places I couldn’t have imagined.
    Safe travels

What a stunning place. So gorgeous. Another fantastic adventure, courtesy of the Leuthold's. Thanks so much for taking us along. It is terrible, the levels of lakes in the country this year. We need a serious snowpack this winter. I don't think anything less will do.

Awe, thank you Cheryl. That is sweet. I would agree on the snowpack. I am hoping it is a sock in the face epic winter season.

Hi Scott and Heather. We are Paul and Fabiola from Cadiz, Spain. We are serious motorhomers in Europe and have just come across your site. We would love to RV through Montana, Idaho and lots of other places but rentals look very expensive where you are. Was wondering if you have any suggestions. We are 70 and 63. Best regards.
