I'm pretty sure the molecule on his t-shirt is ethyl maltol. Looks like it's really wipping throught the base too.
Picked this gem up around Christmas and can't stop rocking it. The sillage and wafts you get are amazing and the ladies love this one
Lavender is one of the most beautiful naturals used in perfumery! It’s such a magical and unique scent profile; one of my favourites for sure!
I love lavender lately, can't get enough. I bought a really nice lavender essential oil just to dab on my hand every now and then 😂
I personally hate lavender, can't stand it in perfume.
@@mikaiyelmiah8538 I'm the same, and have always struggled with it; I have real lavender and will use it therapeutically, even tho I'm not a fan of the scent. But in fume, it makes me sick, even tho I like aspects of the fougere/barbershop frags a lot, I can't tolerate them if they're lavender-heavy. BUT: when blended such that I can barely detect it, if at all, it can be great; I'm sure it, like most any note, works well with other notes/accords in ways that make it mostly undetectable but accentuate other parts of the frag.

I remember walking into Macys in Feb 2022 because I wanted to buy Spicebomb extreme. I just happened to see The Most Wanted there and decided to give it a shot and I was BLOWN away. This fragrance lasts 10 plus hours on my skin. My wife absolutely loves it.
Aaron, you're doing yourself a huge disservice by not working with cardamom materials. It's such a wonderful and elegant spice!
It really really is too. My only issue with it is that it's usually a very fleeting top note that's usually gone within minutes. When they're able to figure out how to make it last 6+ hours, I'll be so damn happy.

If you want to try something similar in-store before blind buying, try Halfeti, but imagine it denser, better, and heavier on cardamom
Cardamon is my favorite note.

I really enjoy Most Wanted and Wanted by Night. Azzaro has done a pretty good job with the scents I've tried based off blind buy recommendations on RUclips. I also love the talking hands and science behind the scents. It's nice to hear about the scent notes and get some personal thoughts from both men and women that appear to have discerning noses and slightly different tastes, but when it comes to proper breakdowns I'll always choose Alton Brown for recipes and Aaron Terence Hughes for fragrances. It doesn't matter whether there are agreements or even disagreements on personal preferences because it's amazing to hear about the breakdowns, almost as if listening to a behind the scenes of the artist at work even if it's not the actual perfumer. Opinions are always biased, but science/art speaks a truth too many choose to ignore as they smell the "base notes" (to put it crudely) or see the pretty colors without ever understanding all the work that goes into creating something new, original, or simply personal. I have yet to rewind time and check out more reviews, but the past month or so I've had the chance to view all the recent and some cherry picked reviews and loved them all. Keep up the amazing work creating fragrances as well as reviewing what's out there!

I got this at the same time as Armani stronger with you intensely, they're different, but there are similarities and I find myself going to the most wanted more often, I get great performance from it too! I'd love to see you review the new wanted by night Parfum.... Great video as always
I have Azzaro Wanted By Night, Most Wanted, and Most Wanted Parfum, and love all 3. I wore Most Wanted yesterday, and got a compliment about 6-7 hours after spraying it on.
Do you prefer the EDP or the Parfum more?
@@jasonyoung9329 I prefer the Most Wanted Parfum and the Wanted By Night over Most Wanted EDP…but the EDP gets the most compliments…at least so far in my experience.
How many sprays do you use ?
@@MrRottman43055 4-5 max. I got rid of wanted by night because I like the Most Wanted and the Parfum so much better. They’re beast performers. The last time I wore Most Wanted, I was in Kroger and a lady chased me down to ask what I was wearing. When I went to check out she had already looked it up and asked if that was the right one. That was several hours after spraying it on.
The Wanted By Night / Most Wanted range has an extremely successful DNA. The price is excellent too.

I genuinely feel like this is going to go down in history as a legend frag. It's excellent. Not sure I've heard of anyone say anything bad about it. Smells addictively good to yourself and others and it performs awesome. Azzaro has been killing it.
It smells like bubblegum and cellophane. This is the type of fragrance built to get you in the opening but it dries down into something very linear and boring. I used to love it but my nose matured and now I don’t like it.

Ok, it’s not going to be legendary. It’s fine. I just finished my bottle, so clearly I enjoy it, but it’s not legendary. Personally I like layering it although it’s fine by itself. I would call it safe. Legendary fragrances, however, push boundaries. They are innovative. Most Wanted is reliable, dependable, a good value and a safe choice.
I almost didn't buy this because I found the bottle a bit tacky, but I loved how it smelled and have only grown fonder of it with time. It's such a playful, sweet toffee fragrance that is surprisingly versatile, but I mostly use it for work (bartending). Love to see my favorite reviewer likes it as much as I do!

"slight" request which may have been brought up by other subscribers of yours but I think it would be great to have a separate series focused solely on different materials, whether they be natural essential oils/absolutes/extracts or synthetic aroma molecules. I think it would be great to learn not only what these materials smell like, but also what they do in a blend at certain percentages to help give someone who is just getting into perfumery some idea as to how to use those materials in a formulation.

I am one of those people you mentioned that has good longevity with this one. It last a full workday on my skin.
Most things don't last on my skin like you ATH, but this is a beast for me. I smell it the next day.

You are freaking awesome, you described it perfectly. For me it lasts about 3ish hours and I was really confused since I was told at Macy's that usually it would last all day for like the average person. nevertheless I love this scent.

To me this smells very much like Stronger With You Intensely, just a bit less sweeter. I can't really tell the difference between them
i never smelled stronger with you intensely but i smelled stronger with you absolutely and it smells very similar.
I tried this when I originally wanted the Parfum version and they didn't have it, so I just went for the EDP. It was the first time I tried a fragrance that lasted 12+ hours on me, this fragrance introduced me into the fragrance world and started my desire for collecting and knowing about fragrances, now im more into niche stuff but it still holds a place in my heart.

@@johnnyquest9101 which one? The parfum or the EDP version? Cause the EDP (black bottle) doesnt smell like Absolute at all to my nose, tried them both side by side too. Havent smelled the Parfum tho.

you are right about the longevity. If it was done at a stronger concentration it would be a CONTENDER
I sprayed it on twice out the box, but 10 mins later the smell has really died down. Straight away you can tell the longevity will be an issue.

I’ve been addicted to this scent for months picked it up in krakow pl and instantly transports me back there it’s a smell that’s addictive and a respective sillage my signature scent
I got the Parfum first but had to circle back to this one later on. I like both but I tend to lean more towards this one though both are amazing.

This really is a beautiful scent on my skin but I seem to either go anosmic very quickly, or it just doesn't perform well on my skin. ONE person, a guy, told me "one bit of advice, less is more" when I went to shoot pool at the bar. Everyone else seemed to love it. Not sure how he qualifies to give fragrance advice when he smelled like the ashtray he just snuffed his cigarette in, but sure. Admittedly, I'm not a sissy sprayer by any means but I also don't drown myself in anything no matter how much I love it.
I don’t go anosmic with MW, but I do w/some of my scents (sauvage elixir, red tobacco, Iberian leather). With MW you’re usually pretty safe, but you can try avoiding your chest and front of neck which should protect your nose. If you are going anosmic I would also avoid your wrists pulse points. If your skin is just eating it, try reapplying 1hr later. Sometimes that helps. Good luck!

I just got a 5ml decant in the mail and honestly. This might sound weird to some people, but it smells like sweet hairspray.

youre 100% correct.weak to no projection with hardly any sillage..3-5 hrs longevity. That beautiful opening lasts about 10 minutes...6 out of 10..

What is datura chemicaly I know that it is a white flowery narcotic note I tried to find it in the good scents company and google but couldn't figure it out
I smelled it in mon paris by ysl and in midnight datura by qaurtana and to me feels magical buzzing and numbing my skull can't stop smelling these two
I really want to smell it alone as note and try to see is it the feeling from it and maybe do some compination of notes for someone special in my life

A cold day rotation of mine a couple times a month is Most Wanted Parfum daytime/work and Most Wanted by Night evening. But I do occasionally wear Most Wanted by Night weekends or days when I want to really fill a room. By night projects more than any other frag I know of and keeps projecting for several hours.
I will say that there have been a few days I grabbed most wanted parfum and then put it back and grabbed Stronger With You Absolutely instead.
My favorite in the Wanted line. I haven’t smelled The Most Wanted Parfum yet.

Agree with you. It's a 9,5 of 10. There are different batches. The first one has the deepest and non linear smell. The newer batches are linear!
I feel if Aaron smelt the older batches he would have maybe given it a 10! Definitely sounds like he's describing the newer batches, also with the fact this video is only 4 months old
Wish I had an older batch 😢 recently got a 150ml of the ABU batch. Still a great scent but kinda frustrating

I just got a new bottle batch ABX, so far it's just cardamom, all other notes are barely detectable
The very first Tester is different. The newer are linear and more watered down... they are now just Cardamom heavy.

Still have to try this one out, had a sample of the regular Wanted and it failed to wow me... but then again that's what flankers are for.
It’s such a weird line because the lead fragrance was a total dud, and except for Tonic all the flankers are hits and Most Wanted is the safest one by far. It’s very likable. But you’re right, the OG is awful.
In all seriousness and with out joking. Who on earth would buy 50ml of this when for an extra £10 you can get 100ml!

Today a 100 ml of this is more like 30 pounds more rather than 10.
I have to say it is too cloying, and unfortunately the cardamom goes away very very fast on my skin, which is a shame because I find it very well done.

I thought it is a great projector and strong scent yes it is potent but it doesn't work much like ysl y edp or jpg ultra male the beast mode better try gisada ambassador intense.
I liked the scent but longevity wasn't good on me, and it was a bit too sweet so I gave nearly a full 100ml away. Same story with The Most Wanted.
