I was there a little under 2 weeks. Mainly using the U2 and U1 and a few times on the U4 lines. That combines with walking around, very few locals will greet or acknowledge you. Just the way it is. Still, I enjoyed all of it. Especially the shops and cafes in some of the stations. Very convenient. I rarely use public transportation in the US.
oh that´s like memories of myself when i started living in vienna 19 years ago. that was simular to my weekly journey with the U3 to westbahnhof to get home for weekendvisits. just on westbahnhof not so many musicians were playing that times. and i still cann´t belive what cracy building they have made out of the good old westbahnhof where i spent so many hours waiting for the train . i even lived for a coupöe of month next to the westbahnhof when i had no flat anymore.
