And yet this music still holds memories that bring me right back to that time sitting in lobbies, chatting with friends, and playing these great online games. Time sure does fly...
Just put my own son to bed. When did i become an old man? Second i heard this, all those times sitting in lobbies chatting with yer friends... man it all came back...
And sadly, those days are nothing but a long bygone memory of what it used to be. It wasn't that much better back then, but at least it was something memorable worth looking back on for what it was. Something that used to mean something compared to what we have now...

I and my late big brother used to play a lot of computer games back in early 2000's. I always remember him watching me playing this game. He passed away in 2022 due to chronic kidney disease. I never enjoy playing video games as much as when he was alive.

Now that I've found it, I hope I can still sleep to this like I used to. Adulting is tough. Life is tough. Relation is tough. Every damn thing is tough.
And now we have the lame, corny knockoff version of this game... To actually think the developers were gonna scrap this entire game because of an accidental, unintended glitch discovery that made this game successful. And all because they feel it was not how they envisioned the game to be played, despite the fact it literally MADE the game better than what the developers had intended for the game. How disappointing the gaming world is...
^ It did not make the game better at all. Kstyle makes the game ugly, wacky and laughable. Gunz is designed to be played like dmc x maxpayne crossover and it was the best thing in my life when most folks played it like that. It seems very few people actually played peak gunz (i.e., without glitch abusers, and hackers too) and I feel pity for those who did not. You all missed not only quests and raids, but also the mission mode with story, unique bosses and fair challenge.

What I learned from this game is that friendships and love can bloom even on the toughest of battlefields. Though I cry no tears as these chords of melancholy usher bittersweet memories, real tears flow endlessly from my heart. To all my comrades, we shall meet again once our missions are complete.
Every time I listen to this soundtrack I get hit with such an incredible wave of nostalgia. The feeling is almost melancholic but it still makes me happy in a strange way. Like the memories of a childhood I will never experience again but still treasure deeply

I bet you type really fast today and Gunz has some influence on that. Good times :') . But remember: it is still possible to remember the game on the Universe Games server (Euro GunZ), which is still online.
It had obvious better choices in the equipment, it had only 3-4 maps, it had a TON of exploitable glitches... ... And it will forever have my undying respect as one of my favorite games of all time.

The closest gaming experiencie with the adventure of pvp feeling I would say it was S4 league, but same age too so XDDD Nowdays the closest combat maybe I can call warframe but... yeah still pretty far
Maybe we won't live the SAO vr experiencie, but the ppl who will live so then, will never experience the true adventure of gaming without easy information. They will never live the moment of 2000s where we were all there in lobbies comfy chatting, dueling between unimaginable glitchess and epic frenzy battles with crazy matrix moves. This game means a lot for too many ppl and it was that unique and special (also S4 league, kudos)... its a shame all this lost in the past and now only hold with a few creepy private servers... I can't understand why no company tried to copy that formula and modernize this. Maybe I'll do it myself if no1 does, still learning programming. Hold up guys and let me cook

The spammers on the ijji lobbies about swapping. Private messages, channels. Lawnmower hack, vote/kicking people, castle berserker death match. This game was a fucking blast. I played from 2006-2011ish. Too many great memories

I miss GunZ, I miss PvE quests/raids, the music, the people, the weapons and swords…newer generations will never know the adventures we had
