It is such a trip to experience AJ for the first time. Because it doesn't matter what song she covered or one of her own, she just grabs you and pulls you in! Then once you're in she takes you on this whole musical journey until now with her! I first experienced her cover of "Feeling Good" just a short 3 years ago but after watching so much of her content (and yes a lot of it with you Andrea) I feel like I've been there the whole time. She gets pretty high in those… As for the underlying premise that a female singer must be able to sing especially high to "make it in [the music] business", well, I think that's just demonstrably false, since there have been plenty of successful female singers in the last few decades who are not known for particularly impressive "upper ranges" (e.g., Sia, Adele, Amy Winehouse…). I think it's much more important to have a unique sounding voice (not to mention some artistry in how it is used) than one that can do any one particular thing.
