I've had the Leopard 6" and the Lynx 9" for 4 years now. Best hiking, scouting, and everyday wear boots I have ever had. I hunt Wv, Va, and Pa mountains in all types of terrain and they still have very little signs of wear on them. You are correct about the forward rockers, they help to sort of propel you up the mountainside as you climb. you just have to wear them to experience what I'm saying. They have fantastic grip while side hilling and feel very secure. Having said that, the best hunting boot ever without question is the Zamberlan hunter pro. It has an 11" height, is insulated, and supports your ankles incredibly well thru rocky terrain and steep sidehilling. I've worn these boots the last 3 years during Nov. to Dec. archery and rifle hunts and would not wear anything else. As a tip, (not that you need my advice), I noticed you stopped to retie your laces. I did at first as well, but since using a double knot, I rarely have to do that now. Thanks for confirming and justifying the cost of these boots! My wife is not so upset that I have three pairs of Zamberlan boots! LOL
Excellent breakdown and thanks for sharing your experience!!! It sounds like you hunt the same type of terrain as me. Sounds like you may have gotten the green light for pair number 4 haha. Thanks for watching 🦌👍🏻
Hey Duane! Maybe one day You-tube will notify me when your video actually comes out! But, I have been hunting a lot in recent weeks, so, partly my fault. Nice boot review and though I rarely go on a hike to hunt right now, my future move to Tennessee may warrant a new pair! I did get a nice archery 8 point on 13 Nov and though i have seen a lot of movement (like night-time Bucks gone wild edition!) on my cameras, I have not had another chance at a mature buck during the day time hours. Hope your season is going well and look forward to your future videos!
Hey thanks man. Congrats on a really nice buck! That’s awesome!! Yeah it’s been busy, just spent some time at my fathers-in-laws hunting property where there is no cel service. Nice to be unplugged once in a while. Thanks for checking in🦌👍🏻
Hey man, I was gonna ask if you could do a comparison video between the reveal 3.0 pro and the 3.0 x. Trying to figure out which one to get for my dad. Thanks!!
I really should have done that before the season kicked off. Now everything is covered in ice and snow and makes things tough for those types of reviews. Check out this comparison chart. It should help you decide 👍🏻 tactacam.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/7751921685275-REVEAL-Comparison-Chart
Hey thanks for watching! Good idea! I will see about doing that for next season. Things are winding down now with the holidays and other things coming up. Best of luck out there 🦌👍🏻
Definitely an infomercial and if you hurry up and buy now, we’ll throw in a free pair of upgraded laces!!! That’s a $19.99 value!!! (End sarcasm) I spend way too much time and effort on my reviews to do anything but give my honest opinion about the product I’m testing out. Thanks for watching.

Colorado has speed bumps. I live in the Himalayas where mountains are.
