We are all wearing costumes/masks/armour in our lives! It’s a way of bolstering and defending ourselves in a world that we don’t quite fit into, yet DESPERATELY TRY and it gets really effing heavy sometimes!
Especially if we don’t take the time to remove the costume, air it out, give it a wash and a sparkle! ✨
Personally, I’ve been feeling that my whole life all I’ve done is exchange one costume for another! Literally!

✨Costume of a smart, well adjusted adult. (Yikes!)
🔥Costume of a professional circus artist…stunt performer…actor…(so many costumes!!!!)
😵💫Costume of a hardworking, productive, intelligent film professional and business owner…
⚔️Costume of a social media lightsaber lady…
But what happens to us when we feel like the costume no longer fit?
Our costumes are a part of us and it doesn’t necessarly mean we take them off forever, or never put them back on. It means, we need to spend sometime outside of our costumes.
Come home to ourselves and not who we are trying to be in the world! ❤️
Because despite what the world tells you, you are worthy and enough exactly as your are!
With or without the costumes…😻

When I first saw you I saw a master of her craft . But to see how vulnerable you felt as a younger person is refreshingly awesome. We are not born great , we become great through our Trials and tribulations in life. The self doubt is the worst . Confidence is a passage of growth . Your a very cool lady .

Yea, it's hard to accept and embrace but we're really under no obligation to be any of who we were yesterday. Gets easier tho the more we make it a conversation and normalize it. Lots of things do, but there's lot of resistance to this for so many reasons.. 😮💨
I wear carharts and flannels because I mind being cold in my late 40s.
I wear cotton exclusively for this reason.
Summer clothes are shorts and super loud button up shirts. Because I mind being hot in my late 40s.
I'm not what you'd call fashionable or with it.
