So a company may both simultaneously have a huge pile of debt AND a huge pile of debtors that owe them money. In fact depending on the circumstances a company may be cash insolvent but own a pile of potential lucrative debt that they can use to trade for forgiveness of their own debt. They may also have a investment portfolio that they can pull out of to make good on debt that they owe. Money isnt cash alone.

The scene wouldn't have fit with the overall tone of the movie. I like that it wasn't in, the filmmakers know that the audience isn't dumb, they trust us to know that it happened separate from Jesse's story. It's still canon.
@@Thepitz2000 Well I mean that the movie was Jesse's movie. To take a break from him and see Skinny get arrested and questioned would have felt weird with the pacing I think. That's what I think at least.
@@rhodanosaurus I was only questioning why they showed it in a trailer and never put it in the movie. That first Trailer is what got me interested in the movie in the first place. Even though I loved Breaking Bad. I would have watched it without that trailer but damn that is one part I wanted to see.
Didn't quite get how Mr. Aaron went from psycho trauma guy to "do You got any money or s.hit" in house of Skinny - kinda way to quick turnaround. Walter is dead - so sad....or maybe they've just said so to the public in the show so as keep him as a secret or he escaped with the help of someone hmmm. I think that Badger will get some part in next movie, so will family of Mr. White and Saul obviously. He said BB only to Brock because there will be pt.2 or new TV series hopefully?
Hmmmm curious, but the fact that obviously Vince Gilligan put so much time into writing this letter which was real makes me believe that it will be shown and I think Aaron Paul just kind of gave it away that there is more to come to this story. Whether it be in BCS or in the form of another movie is yet to be seen.
What about Mike? From the last season of BB I always thought Mike had a good potential to come back. He's shot by Walt and drives his car into the weeds where he asks Walt to just let him die in peace. One of the next shots is the red headed nephew opening the car trunk so Walt can see the body but all we see is a piece of his jacket or a tarp or blanket or something. Was this set up by Mike so he could escape?
I watched it and was happy they made it. I had no idea what to expect or what I even wanted it to be about. I did know that for 6 years, I've been dying to know what happened to Jesse. I didn't need 10 years in the future, I just needed to know that he wasn't arrested or killed or that anything else bad happened to him and I got that. I got more than that. He got Todd's money and that new life in Alaska. I'm happy with all of it. Well there was one thing wrong. Todd was WAY too fat and should have gone on a serious diet like many actors do for certain roles.
PLEASE!!! Put me out of my misery. (No Netflix showing it in this country.) So Todd doesn't die immediately like I thought? Please tell me what happens. No one's looking.....pleeeeeeese?
bushwhacker die immediately? You saw his death in breaking bad. The only Todd in el Camino is flashback Todd during the time that Jesse is held captive
I've watched it twice now, just to catch things I may have missed the first time because I was so excited. I didn't realize that probably 60% or more of it was flashbacks. I get why some of it had to occur, but there was so much that was completely unnecessary in my opinion. Was the movie great? No. Could it have been better? ABSOLUTELY! Did it answer a few questions, yes. One thing I was happy they showed so much of was the beautiful scenery with those incredible Sandia mountains in northeast Albuquerque. I was in town on a cross country road trip from FL to east Tennessee and across America on Route 66 to L.A. and Albuquerque was absolutely my favorite place to stay. Watching this made me relive a little bit of that trip. I just wish I had taken it 3 weeks later because that's when they filmed it. P.S. - If you ever go there, be prepared for the owners of Walt's house to be not so welcoming. Go to Old Town and buy some blue moth from the Candy Lady shop. I loved every bit of that town that I saw, but I didn't see the south part of town. But what I did see was beautiful and the air is so fresh, clear and clean with no humidity! After I came home about 3 weeks later, I started looking at houses and prices in Hank and Marie's part of town. How much does a DEA agent make because the homes in that area are expensive!
bushwhacker put it this way Todd was stupid enough to assume Jesse would never escape after his first attempt. Because of that he wasn’t too concerned if Jesse knew details about where that money might be located.
Although it was nice to see Jesse and his friends again in new situations...but to be COMPLETELY honest, as a HUGE Breaking Bad fan...this movie felt unnecessary. It was beautifully shot, the performances was very good...but the story and pacing...meh
My only question was why did they assume Jessie was alive still ? Why not assume the whiteys killed him n thats why walt came back for revenge? Assuming Jessie was alive didnt make sense to me
The end of the interview had me crying because i never had children and i wanted to so badly, everyone always said i would be a good Dad. But i never will be.
Jesse Plemons is fantastic and one of the best things about Breaking Bad. But his weight gain for flashbacks simply ruined the movie. Gilligan wanted it perfect and he couldn't see the problem? It was the stupidest thing I've ever seen.
That said- 6 years later and Aaron Paul looks exactly the same and made it extremely believable that it was either 2 days later or the recent past and made the few "Breaking Bad" quality action/drama scenes work perfectly when Plemons wasn't in the scenes-including the 2 flashback scenes w/the major stars -who both also looked the same and made the scenes work perfectly. The 2 buddies were also excellent
As a massive fan of the series, I was left feeling underwhelmed by the film. Skinny P & Badger... living together? Skinny P has this master-plan for the car switcheroo... But we don't get to see any of it after Jessie leaves... Missed opportunity there. The scene's with Walt were a nice touch and Robert Foster's scenes with Jessie were frankly some of the best in the film, but the ending felt somewhat inevitable. A shootout over money... I mean Vince... Do you have more planned or was this really 'it'? If so, as good as Aaron acted, it was still disappointing.
It did feel a little disconnected from the series and I do agree it wasn’t Vince’s idea. He didn’t want to do it, he talked about it before. The ending was perfect. It was obviously a huge money talk by Netflix. I didn’t hate it but I guess with all the hype I expected a lot more. I would for starters appreciated they had the same music and composers to keep the atmosphere. Music is a lot in movies, the one they picked was garbage, sounded like a hallmark channel movie. It went slow, something I loved about breaking bad was how not ever was a dull moment (except on the fly episode, that one is slow but it needs to be that way). Then they had Walter on a bald wig, (understandably he’s an actor doing other projects) but an eyesore for the viewers. The fact that Jesse recovered (or seemed) to be recovered in less than 24 hours from a semi catatonic state to Rambo was also weird. Walter having this paternal conversation where he tells him he’s smart and he could do business when Walt never talked to him like that without an agenda. He needed him, he wasn’t gonna encourage him to pursue something else. This “good guy Walt” even on his best days, was not a thing at least regarding Jesse’s intellect.
If you’re wondering where Walt jr was, he was eating breakfast.

Just make Jesse look like a tramatized Illuminati slave that was as broke as a horse in a 2 foot pen. If this is all Vince has got, he blew his legacy as a writer... However I have a feeling that there is already in production a "Breaking Bad" reserection. The Phoenix from the ashes.... Why. Well Vince is an Illuminati Slave Director and must show this OR ELSE........
I wanna know why we never saw Skinny Pete talking to the feds, that was in the first Trailer???
The scene wouldn't have fit with the overall tone of the movie. I like that it wasn't in, the filmmakers know that the audience isn't dumb, they trust us to know that it happened separate from Jesse's story. It's still canon.
@@rhodanosaurus What do you mean 'It would not have fit" The feds were hunting Jesse the whole movie.
@@Thepitz2000 Yeah I understand that. I still consider it to be part of the overall movie though, like we know it happened.
They should make a movie about walls family or something
That would be a pretty boring movie I think
my GOD!...my god. I love Aaron Paul...my GOD! :p
Why wasn’t it done in 2014-2018
El Camino is one of the best movies I have seen! Certainly the best movie of 2019!
EL CAMINO WAS SHHHHHHIT PERIODT.
@@brha1979 Ahh. Is that all. Ok thanks. But how does Jesse find Todd's money though?
How much does a DEA agent make because the homes in that area are expensive!
bushwhacker put it this way Todd was
stupid enough to assume Jesse would never escape after his first attempt. Because of that he wasn’t too concerned if Jesse knew details about where that money might be located.
Holly, her name is Holly
“Burning questions”
Where were they then?
*Netflix has a lot of money*
- Aaron Paul / Jesse Pinkman, 2019
Love him
why tf haven't we seen the inside of the letter???
Well, he messed it up.
Young Jesse was so much fun, before all the heavy shit beset him!
1:28 I thought they kissed on the lips for a split second
This movie actually inspired me to move to Alaska... just gotta get on my feet and marry my dream girl and I’ll go!
He didn’t say Bitch.. not even one time💔😢
Mehmet Caliskan he says it once I thought?
He says "yeah bitch" in the diner
kunah that was a flashback that doesn’t count hahaha
He did!
The movie was like a below average episode of BB, stretched out to fill two hours. Not expertly done, and pretty weak on story, by BB standards.
Can we get one that is five or ten years down the road for Jesse and The others?
Although it was nice to see Jesse and his friends again in new situations...but to be COMPLETELY honest, as a HUGE Breaking Bad fan...this movie felt unnecessary. It was beautifully shot, the performances was very good...but the story and pacing...meh
Netflix is the greatest dope movie all time great tvshow
No bitch word, only in a flashback. 3/10 want more bitches! 😂
Really, 9/10 great conclusion/fan service
I saw it and didn't seem as a movie to me was just like another episode of the series
I thought the movie was boring and kind of shallow, but yeah it gives us some closure. Definitely overhyped.
You have no taste whatsoever
The OK corral scene was a little dumb.
So did Jesse ever go to College
God i love this dude
My only question was why did they assume Jessie was alive still ? Why not assume the whiteys killed him n thats why walt came back for revenge? Assuming Jessie was alive didnt make sense to me
Didn't you see the finale of Breaking Bad?
ha ha he says bitch ha ha .
I think he had to be big for another role.
He's cute af
Poor combo
