Can you guys tell when that moment was? It happened after the “4 Days Out” episode season 2. That’s why Jesse kept telling Walt to hydrate and also why Walt looked so worried cus he thought the cancer got worse ( the inflammation he saw on the x rays.) & proceeded to say what he said to Jesse. Anyway, that’s my guess.
@@Elias-cf5yt He was always giving them an in to the operations him and walt had. Allowing them to make money and all that. I suppose outlasting the neo nazis could be another reason. Jesse is a well developed character.

I think that was blown out of proportion. Probably during a very early script before they started shooting the jesse character died. But no way such a meticulous and detail oriented writer would randomly save a major character half way through a season or something. Breaking bad left no gaping holes, everything had a reason as to why we saw it.
Vince pretty much admitted that the second they started shooting they realized how important Jesse would actually be. So, even though it makes for a fun rumor and even though Jesse was supposed to die in the very very early drafts, by the time they shot the first episode Gilligan was one hundred percent certain he wanted Jesse to live.
Psyber yes. One thing that made BB the best is it has new conversations until now. Plus, if BB gave us the ending Walt deserves, El camino gave us the ending Jesse deserves.
As a hardcore BrBa fan, I can't think of a better way to end one of the greatest story ever told. Vince gilligan is such a genius. Developing a whole movie out of tiniest possibility is definitely something. The plot is pretty simple but damn that screenplay is amazing.
I enjoyed the movie but I’d rather they left it as is. The original script said hopefully Jesse was on his way someplace better and i was fine with that.
It's rare to find a show people love this much, but even rarer to find a show that has an ending people love as well. This show will go down in HISTORY for being perfection and art.
No , Jane and jesses dream was to move to Alaska . When he was driving and looked over and saw her sitting next to him was by far the best part of the movie . Goosebumps everywhere
I saw el camino, and it so isn't going to stop the theories about this show. It absolutely felt like breaking bad, well the continuation of jesses story anyways, there were a couple of really brilliant moments that showed how smart (clever) Jesse really was all along, there was even a moment where his logic was sound, but vince/Netflix subverted expectations and Jesse is proven wrong. It certainly feels like more can be done in the aftermath of the events of El Camino, but if that is a definite end, then I am sure some fans will be content with it, but there will always be fans who aren't, which will always be the case regardless of what direction you take a story.
@Cold Dragon I agree, I was hoping he'd live to see a jail cell, it would've kept you wondering about what Walts condition was like and whether or not he'd ever try to escape (along with giving closure for Hank, which was deserved)...I thought they should've kept it a mystery as well, Jesse should've turned off the radio right before they said he was dead
El Camino was just perfect. But I would've loved at least one scene showcasing what the White family is up to now without Walt and with the money he left them.
Marius Møller I know this was for Jesse that’s why just one scene would have been a cool addition IMO but El Camino is truly satisfying as it is. It filled that Bb hole in me that wanted to find out what happened after ..
There's still BCS to tie that up, this was Jesse's story. I liked it. I like to think the letter to Brock was about the surplus money from Kandy welding. It tied everything up nicely, got some nostalgia stuff with my 2 fav BB characters popping up, and it turned the "hopefully" something better he was driving off towards, into a fresh start for him.

All I expected from the film was a telling of how Jesse escapes the threat of being killed or jailed and that’s exactly what it was, not too much more. Like I said though i can see where you’re coming from
The show and movie are both masterpieces. Each episode of the show served a purpose and kept me interested in every. Single. Time. The way the characters are effortlessly fleshed out and each story intertwining with each other. The rise and fall of Heisenberg. The evolution of Jesse. The show was beautiful. It tied up every story. Except our dear Jesse. Then, El Camino came out. And not only did it finish Jesse's story, but closed a chapter in television history. Vince Gilligan, and the show as a whole dared to push expectations and set the bar. It truly is the best television show to ever air, and the movie was a terrific extension and ending for the show and dear Jesse, who lost so much, if not more than anyone else throughout the show. Im glad he got some sense of justice. Vince, you are a true genius. Aaron Paul, Bryan Cranston, the entire cast did such a great job bringing these characters to life. Truly a beautiful masterpiece of a story
