I have the Simmod L Mount to PL adapter on my Pyxis as well. I purchased it for the exact same reason (all black), and it's a solid mount for a fraction of the price. Nice and sturdy paired with the Blazar Cato 2X Anamorphics. Great set up, and thanks for sharing your build. Looks great.
@@MaximeSolemn I’d have to put them side by side to really get into the nitty gritty. But they are both slightly different in their own way. The full frame fall off is quite nice on the Pyxis but the 12k has a certain look to it that I cant quite explain. It just feels right. I dont think you could go wrong with either at their price points.
@@danabeldp So the thing is that the 12k used is only 700$ more than the pyxis, so for my purposes, I'm really just seeing them as the same price point. Do you feel one wins over the other then? My main concern for the Pyxis is the jittery rolling shutter issue, whilst the issue for the 12k is the singular native iso and the gigantic file sizes/outdated media issue.
@@MaximeSolemn I really only shoot 4k or 8k on the Ursa. The file sizes really arent bad depending on compression. Similar to what you’ll get on Pyxis. Cfast 2.0 is pretty easy to come by too which is nice. Both cams need light or the sensor will noisy up so the dual native isnt really a deal breaker for me. Really just depends on the job, both excellent cameras

Thank you for sharing! I've been looking all over YT for this power distribution approach.
@@12yfilms anytime! What battery plate are you going with?
Great vid bro💪

Do you have a link to where we can get some of these accessories?
Thanks for the insights! Would you say the Ursa 12k still produces a superior image to the Pyxis when all is said and done?
