France|Spring '23: The final rain-drenched push back to Calais

Greetings RUclips! Please join me as I ride my BMW R1200 GSA through countless hours of torrential rain on the final leg of my French trip from Dole back to Calais. Snorkels at the ready... it's going to be a wet one!

Just had week in France and a good soaking on the way. Was OK for the rest of the trip which is a first for me. Normally I have a deluge for the 300-500 mile ride home😂 Previous trip my waterproofs gave up do treated myself to some new ones and they held up well unlike my gloves. Took the wrong kit under the illusion that it may be warm and dry😕 Great vids👍

It sounds like we are kindred spirits; always at the mercy of the rain Gods! Good waterproof gear is so important and gloves rarely deliver... Last winter I bought some Knox winter gloves and they have been excellent - a little stiff at first but I have had dry hands ever since! Thanks for watching and ride safe!
