Johan is such a great presenter. Also the updated presentation is amazing with all the mass evidence flooding in, the crystal clear animations. I really hope, our decision makers will start to finally listen!

I really admire the patience and willingness of Rockström to use the language of current economic and political leaders in order to make them comprehend the situation in a way that encourages them to take action.

Swedish Academy crowd looks so sensible and cool, exactly like almost no one you would ever see heading your government... Thank you Beijer Foundation and Professor Johan Rockström!

The stewardship goal could be achieved by making Regenerative Agriculture the required policy of any nation that wants to play a part in a member nations' economy. Regen is based on 5 basic principles that have more than enough evidence to guarantee they will work on any arable land. Thereby restoring the hydrological, CO₂, soil building cycles that makes life on this planet possible. However anyone who believes the hysterical, science-deficient AGW argument excludes themselves from the solution. Take a deep dive to see how a pastoral attitude towards soil magnifies into removing most of the existential concerns. It does nothing about a greener planet being more attractive to hurtling interplanetary teenagers. That level of ignorance is on its own.

Not going to shift the needle unless we change as a society as well. Arable land is mostly human crops and is about 25% of ag land, unless we can regen the non arable land as well it would take of a sliver of what is needed.
