A business venture involving the manufacture and sale of sarongs to the base personnel has the guys divided into two separate quarreling groups. When the feud escalates, Binghamton tries to take advantage of its effect on them during a PT crew efficiency test, their failure of which would mean their being shipped out for re-assignment.

The nip sub blow up. How many times is it used? My apologies, I have been watching all of the episodes from start to most likely finish! Have seen a few repeat stock film pieces inserted into several episodes. Yes I understand that this an industry norm, but just wondering how many times that such was used over the course of this series.
In the first season they forced the same sub to the surface and captured the crew like 3 times
Also the air raids, it’s the same 3 clips of a planes guns guns and a plane diving 😂
With the exception of Barney Miller, my favorite sitcoms were filmed before color TV & low standards.

In the fictional Pacific Island base Taratupa they are called Sarong's. Not dam Lava-Lava's or Sulus.
