Damn, this is a legit high performance car killer. Looks proper sleeper aswell. Good work. People who say it won't last long are daft. Just needs adequate maintenance
@@JacesOwnWorld It comes stock with pops, bangs and crackles, you can have it customized, and to be honest, the pops and bangs from the tune itself are way softer on the system than they are stock. It's just changing how it sounds and giving it a more natural feel as you wish.
Thx vwKris, TVS Engineering and Germany for the Autobahns sections without speed limits! (remember when looking in your mirror on the Autobahn, make vids don't take pictures)
Had my Mk7R custom tuned by TVS back in the day, it was a stg2 FBO car. Absolutely fantastic to drive, and would blow APR, Uni, Revo, etc. Cars completely out of the water. Still miss it 😢
That's a really nicely done Stage 3 R! I love how civil and quite it can be and then turn into a monster! I don't know about turning increasing the longevity of mechanical parts that you mentioned at the end. Especially the clutch which can be the first mechanical part to go after turning a car.
the TCU tune actually prolongs the longevity of the transmission. They also manage to have it run cooler then stock and with less slip by increasing the clutchpressure, so there basically is less wearing of the clutch.
Any word on flex fuel options with MPI from tvs on the ea888 gen 4 engines? What sort of rpm are they seeing peak torque/boost with the bigger turbo? Are the limited by the stock DI fuel system now?
@@rb25detMitch07 Flex I think is on the cards, however cracking the locked TCU’s has been all hands on deck first. The upgraded turbo is a little more laggy, by about 500-600rpm at least. It can be felt but not drastically different to stock - Fueling I don’t think is maxed yet, there is still some fine tuning to finish off also :)
Vw Kris, heb je de HPFP fuelpump en 4 bar map sensoren moeten installeren of was de originele fuelpomp al genoeg? Welke type garret turbo is het? Verder echt top man. ❤
@@davothegreat9990 yep so this is a 22 model, tuneable. 22+ models have locked TCU, however TVS are first to market with a solution to make them tuneable, this car is in fact running a ‘locked’ unit and working fine :))
Love the looks of the seats in these cars and the steering wheel

@@itsamemo9632 appreciate the comment! It truely is sleeper status, super car killer!
@@vwkris can imagine it trashing most supercars. Shouldn't have an issue with the new gens m5 and c63 since they weigh as much as the titanic 😂
Not with that pops n crackles tune. If he drives it constantly like this, his engine won’t see 100k miles.

Hello, this is a great thing. When will the details be announced? 100-200 time?
Hopefully this car will get with Autotop NL in the future!

Thank you! Still stock HPFP and I believe stock MAP sensor. This is the Garrett Powermax for MK8
What downpipe did they run on this build? Milltek catted or something else?
This was a De-cat Downpipe :)
I’m no mechanic but I wonder how the engine internals deal with all this power.
For years, the Audi and VW Platform has held 500hp on their 4 Cylinder motors with no trouble for many miles!

I beg to differ, many of my own vehicles are tuned with high mileage! Maintenance and quality software/hardware is key!
It's not a nice engine but a good engine.
Why tune it that much when car is new. You will blow the engine very soon
Not at all! With proper and safe tuning, this car should last as long as any other car with proper maintenance :)
