When the egg wasn't fertilized then everything that was originally made for the Baby (the egg where it can grow) goes to waste, so there's space in here body for the next potential Baby. Normally they lay about 30 eggs a year/ 30 periods, but the industry modified them to lay about 300 eggs a year. That's nearly 1 EGG A DAY. The poor chicken are suffering.😔❤

Ok, so. I will say the animation is good BUT as someone who keeps and raises chickens, I know that they really don't care too much if you take their eggs, sure the'll peck you if it's infertile (which this egg probably is as we only see this chicken).(Also, may I note how that egg should be broken). If it IS fertile they will care a bit more

@@AbhishekMishra-zx6ou my ducks dont care about their eggs at all. They literally abandon then as soon as I open the coop door in the morning. their breed is notorious for being bad mothers. A guy had a video where he tried to get a rare broody campbell to hatch and raise her baby. Out of 60 eggs, 3 came out, and 2 died because she didn't sit on them at night.

Many years ago I saw similar flash-animation (when there was no mention about "youtube) where farmer got several eggs to breakfast. Rooster saw that and kidnapped a farmer's child, killed and ate.
I saw now cut light version about it...
Well the chicken won't have to worry about the mother stealing her eggs anymore.
Because she will be dead tomorrow.
Somewhere there's a vegan lurking behind this animation. I can smell a rotten egg from miles away! (just kidding... I'm vegan and I approve this message)
However you have to remember that if humans/animals in general hadn't ever eaten animal protein we could never have evolved to the highly functioning intelligent species we are now. Think about it. Every highly intelligent animal has consumed animal protein (meat) at some point whether it be the direct species or an ancestor earlier in its evolutionary tree. Plant protein alone doesn't provide the complex amino acids needed for complex evolution.

Farmers don't do that, most of the time the chickens give them away willingly, there's a specific time where the eggs actually could contain a live chick that's when they protect and the farmer let's them for that gives him more chicken so yeah this gives false information

Actually, we got a dead chick in an egg once, like usual we bought the eggs from the store, but that one time when we cracked open an egg, it had a dead chick inside, so we put him by the sink coz we don't know what to do with it, our minds were blank coz we didn't expect it to happen at all, in the end our maid took it but we didn't know what she did with it, throw it away or give it a proper burial, but it was really sad to see the dead chick cramped up in its eggshell, never got the chance to see the world and the next thing you know, it was dead inside its eggshell at such a young age... :'(

We have some fancy hens, ($100 ea.) that my sister bought. They were owned only to make eggs, hence, money. My mother and I have no need for her to just lay eggs so she has her first baby hatch out this year. Dear Lord this chicken scares me. She's smaller than a cat but will launch herself at the roof of the cage to attack us if we hold her chick. It's so small we have to have her away from all the others in a special cage because crows will carry the baby off.
I love the bemused expression on the baby's face at the end of the short.
