This is beautiful….I have a wall about the same size I would love to do this with…I am a DIYer, but think I better practice a bit before tackling the wall..I am wanting a darker warmer gray. Think I better buy a bit of sheet rock and practice 😬😬. Thanks…great work and am enjoying your videos.
2 colours would be great. I've done it with 3 at the same time. However, if you wanted to LAYER 1 glaze over another glaze that's dried you have to blend the 2nd layer immediately, i.e. don't dot all over then come back to blend because the 2nd layer of glaze lifts the 1st one, even if left just a few minutes, and you get baldy patches that are hard to patch.
My thoughts exactly...I usually put a coat of clear poly over my base paint first..reduces paint/glaze absorption. The glazed coffers with the glazed walls seem a little forced and not crazy about the color contrast. But definitely like the overall technique.
This is a new product I am selling called , classic wall glaze it will be on the website Monday . It’s amazing open time (as you can see) is fantastic, tints with pigment and soap and water clean up
@@RonaldLayman Nice..I would love to try it. I am going to be glazing some cabinets soon for a client. On a side note , have you ever done any Tadelakt? I am working on a large shower right now.
Great video! I know this is 3 years ago. But, can you ease tell us all items used for this project thankyou so much!
I love the glaze color you used
I'm gonna do this to my cinema walls today. Glad I watched this as I bought a new sweeping brush last week. 😀

Wonderful ! What paint to glaze ratio did you use ? Thankyou !
Wow, love it
What could something like this actually cost to do. Labor/materials etc. ??? Looks amazing!
Great job!
Do you offer some sort of training DVD ? Or could point me to one ? I am a plasterer by trade and would love to learn how to do venetian plastering?.
*what kinda brush is it?*
Is this similar to lime washing a wall?
Yes, This would be a “faux” lime wash
Yes that video is coming in three weeks
What would it look like if you slathered on 2 colors at the same time before brushing it out?
