In the Gloria Swag earrings, I use 18g for the stem and 20g for the swag using 8mm beads... this one I am using 6mm beads, 20g for the stem and 22g for the swag. I use all soft wire as the process of work hardening happens during creation and makes the wire harder, plus the finishing process also adds to that. You can use half hard if you'd like for the stem, I show in the earrings how to harden the wires first. Regarding why 20g... because that's what fit into the holes of these smaller beads ;) Thanks for watching!

I was curious as to why you use 20 gauge it seems so soft. Did you use 20 gauge copper half hard?
