For unstable transmitter, if it is ready to trigger and you were to take 1 million damage in 1 hit it would cap your hp to 25% and then apply the barrier and a small invulnerability window i believe. With its current power it is stronger than Dios.
Osp is the thing capping your taken damage
@@sisior1238 nope, transmitter hard floors your hp at 25% now while active. you can test it by grabbing a watch and potion and taking a big hit. I believe OSP is 10% hp, so if transmitter wasn't flooring ur hp then the watch would break.

Stoneflux has a slight slip n' slide effect and when you combine it with lots of speed the effect only gets stronger. You also got slower each stage not only because you were losing mochas and goat hoofs but also because buffs played a huge part in your speed gain. Each time you spawned in your buffs got reset, you can see how you slowly got faster again as you got more buffs.
Taking Poison instead of Blight with the new noxious thorn is INSANE btw

The worst part of the original update was that for me on Xbox I couldn’t play the game, and when I finally got in it deleted my data.
i had a run with acrid with a stage 1 noxious thorn today, i ended up looping and i got bored and alt f4'd instead of continuing to play and getting the eclipse level
17:17 luminous shot was never "base damage" fixed in the same way bleed is. it was actually 300% of the hit that triggered it aka your primary. so you could go power mode rebars on mulT and it would be doing 1800% of your base damage. shotgun-style/multi-hit m1s would do a lot less damage though as a result.

@rndThursday This was how it was described as working on the wiki (pre-rework). Supposedly the tooltip was wrong.
As of right now, that's STILL how it works more or less. Pick mulT with pstance, rebar primary and scrap launcher secondary. If you hold down m2, you will get a stack of lshot for every missile fired. Either one of your weapons can trigger the damage, but you'll notice that using rebar will deal significantly more proc damage (600/360× more to be precise).
Fun fact I have over 300 hours across pc and my switch and I have never played acrid once. Maybe it's worth a shot now that we have noxious thorns.

Why Bite instead of Spit for Acrid? Is this a new patch thing or has it always been better? I've never seen a huge use for Bite, but then again I have like 10 Acrid games total so idk.

Bite was always good. rndThursday has always liked it, at least.
I personally think Bite is good for beating up bosses, it's fun and it works well for that purpose. Losing a way to hit aerial enemies is a bit problematic but you can always just use Epidemic twice which does the job exceptionally well.
