+coffeemonstar2 Hello Current Blanchard steels are not good steel. Old ones are much much better. Harder steels with good heat treatment. they hold edge sharper and longer
coffeemonstar2 Both old C.S. osborne and old blanchard are fine knives. I think old blanchard is harder than C.S. osbornes. W.rose round knife is really hard among all of vintage knives but old blanchard is also pretty close to W.rose
