Wishing Dutch and his family the best.
And his mustache
How many wrestlers did Abby infect? Brody, Funk, Colon, Dusty, Valiant, everyone?
$75 a match ain't worth hepatitis
I reckon there will probably be some outbreak of something nasty linked to one of those outlaw mudshows at some point.
@@JimmyMac-jo3zh But they won't care. When you're getting paid in xanax, the clap is nothing.
I've done one Indie show back in the 70s where we had to wrestle on a mat that was so USED it would have been easier to wrestler on the floor out in the street rather than in the ring 😮😂😂BROTHER!
SHAME ON THE MESS!
Late 90s early 00s here..... I proudly report nothing changed 🤮
😂😂😂 WOW!! Similar to the mat in Stu Hart dungeon they say as well.
I'm surprised that wrestlers never got ringworm, or some other skin infection from the filthy mats.
They absolutely did, can't remember which old wrestler I remember complaining about staph infections going around
I remember swinging from a rope and slipping then I woke up with blood all over my face but didn't know it. I walked over to my dad and he ended up dry heaving because half my face was gushing blood.
Come to find out I landed face first on a rock. Luckily I didn't break my neck or my face. I didn't even get any stitches even though I probably needed them
When we played Star Wars I got to be Luke Skywalker because of my facial scar. Like forty years later all I have is a little dot on my cheek
Respect for the framed Animals album, James
CWA Memphis Wrestling at Mid South Coliseum in the 80s, that old white canvas was always covered with blood. It wasn't until late 80s when they finally got a new one Lol.
I didnt appreciate the blood scenes. No place for that.
Technically roids aren't intravenous if that's what you meant.
I always thought staph would be rampant in wrestling, i doubt they wash these canvases
Did they do test to make sure your heart was pumping? The test would be to look at the person. If he was breathing his heart was pumping.
I’m curious what Ian Rotten’s thoughts are on this.
Hannibal, the guy who repeatedly stabbed a referee and had him bleeding all over the ring!
youch
Can we have a little education please!, HIV is not the same as AIDS, aids develops from the non treatment of HIV
The only way to get aids is to get hiv. So, don't act like they're giving miseducation.
This is basically a podcast about "OLD SCHOOL " PRO WRESTLING NOT AIDS AWARENESS NO DOnt EXPECT much about aids
I went to work a local (Hickory, NC) match for a now defunct group. They thought it was cool to bleed all over the mat and just let it dry and keep using it over, and over. I refused to work the night. Very stupid people. The called themself "Ring of Dishonor"
The reason WWF brought John Hill in to be part of the Valiant Brothers team in 1979 was Jimmy contracted hepatitis and they needed a replacement for him in the team, and so Gentleman Jerry Valiant was born. I'm not sure if Jimmy got it through a blade job or infected blood, but most of the time he was there in that run he was like a second manager for the team with Lou Albano. When they deemed him able to wrestle again he worked some matches, but shortly after that they took the tag titles off them and put them on Putski and Santana.
