Yeah, I'll be pulling for him. What I don't like is that the toxic part of Firefly's fandom and meta slaves are ragging on those that do want to pull for him. It's like Jing Yuan again, to some degree. I get people not wanting to pull for certain characters, that's fair. It's when you decide to be a schoolyard bully about it because you have "better" toys.

I’ve actually gotten the opposite because Boothill is supposedly more “mechanically superior” to Firefly and that I shouldn’t waste my time with a character I like over the meta. Straight up called me a simp just for saying “I want the Mecha Magical Girl.”

Even on Boothill's own trailers on other websites, there are replies of people trying to trash and saying easy skip for Firefly, likely some of them being trolls. In the end, it's just people being immature about fictional characters.

As someone who's pulling for both, I've personally seen way more toxicity towards Firefly than towards Boothill.
