Don't hold your breath...America doesn't need Eddie Hearn nor will he gain any real market traction here in the model he's pursuing. Hearn's his own worst enemy when it comes to connecting to US based fighters because he talks more about what they aren't worth than what they'd be worth if he promoted them all out! Another thing working against Hearn is the very real fact that the traditional boxing promoter is a dying breed here in USA #ThanksAlHaymon so unless Hearn sees the light where does that leave him? With DAZN still an uncertainty and Hearn unwilling to overpay fighters to go there, where does that leave him? As is, Hearn can't head back to UK fast enough for me, but if he makes the necessary adjustments, there's plenty of room for anyone who wants to grow the sport.
@@CardsCashRewards oooh you sound a bit butt hurt. And why the fuck would anyone overpay fighters? They get paid what their worth and thats that. And that was before PBC formally announced multi-year deals with Showtime & FOX. Pay attention that since PBC's last three PPVs have 10X more buyers than DAZN has subscribers and the constant theme with DAZN offers is fighters have to fight 3Xs on average to make what they're making w/PBC in one fight. Hearn said he'd only pay Spence $6 million for Mikey fight & Spence pulled in north of $15 million. PBC fighters aren't without promoters either, it's just that promoters work for them not they work for promoters. How does Hearn overcome that? There are venues in top boxing markets (Vegas/LA/Brooklyn/etc.) that Hearn can't even get into so this 65% you're talking about must've come to you in a dream but you tell me to "wake up".
