Nice video, no clue why I’ve become obsessed with watching these reviews but I can’t seem to stop. 😂😂 only time I’ve experienced a MRE is after hurricane Katrina. They kept the family feed and the food wasn’t bad at all. Anyway thanks 😊
Powdered milk can only be prepared with hot water. You can try putting in a small amount of hot water, stir it, and then add room temp water to even it out.
Elliott Larsen I think there may be some bad blood there, but I'm not sure. Either way, I love all of the ration reviewers, even though I don't hold a candle to 'em
Seth Bowser MRE and ATV I thought kinda the same thing, but I doubt it, Steve is way cool, and Nathan seems chill too. However each have their own niche. Steve is very informative, Nathan is SUPER thorough. Each ration reviewer has their own way, and that probably means that he (Steve) doesn't watch as often. I mean, because I do more tasting reviews on MREs and less about the whole date code thing, I usually don't connect super well with MVPs like Gschultz9, just kinda as an example Cheers, Simon
Great review! Your wrist and hand look a little swollen Nathan. Is your wrist doing okay? I can't exactly remember what you told me was wrong with it but I know it was painful and needed alot of recovery.
Very cool. Mate you have been getting your hands on some awesome stuff! Great pack and the difference in packaging was great to see that they didn't just re badge a regular IRP. Great review as always mate 🙂
+Ol' Mate Dropbear I haves some more coming Monday, stay tuned,it's only going to get better , seen your review earlier , I try to do the all in one video though seems like the views are a lot better like that, good luck and I hope it gets your sub count up for you
Cheers for the tip mate. I will have to give it a go with an all in one review. That will have me thinking on how to lay it all out! :/ LOL Fingers crossed it does get more subscribers. The number of people subscribing has really just frozen of late. Lost a fair few after the Mini Dropbear ones. LOL Have to say that I love the comments about someone shoveling turds with the spoons & the cyanide pill! LMAO :))
I am about to do a Russian Ration review and I am sure there'll be translation problems. Can you go by the rule that the big cans are the ones that usually should be heated? I found in general that's a good rule. I liked this video a lot. That they make their own rations for customs agents is very interesting.
Awesome, haven't seen one of these before. I don't mind if you eat everything at once, but do you eat all the food or do you waste the rations? That is the best Kasha with beef. It looks like it has fat on top on the camera. With the milk not mixing well in my experience is it is whole milk and the fat doesn't seem to dissolve properly. Excellent review thanks
Very cool ration, I have 2 Russian, and 1 British, coming in from Art and Nina. Wanted A French ration, but I waited too late. That is A lot of items, even for A 24 Hr. ration, wow. Better safe than sorry, on rations, and food in general. If you Don't know, throw. Rest of items looked awesome. The Russian coffee stands up better than Tasters Choice, LOL. Hopefully Cyanide not included after the cold war years, LOL. Overall, great ration and review!! Peace. John.
No , made joke, sometimes, well jokes, do not come across overseas. I believe the days of Cyanide over, just language translated, becomes confused friend, saw A buddy swallow A vitamin pill, was effervescent tab to mix with water, then drink. Foaming at the mouth, understood sir. All I meant, look up, find translation, etc, before you guess???? Your reply comes across as joke, I am laughing. Just saying, if buddy, ate water purification tabs as vitamins, possibly came out worse, ok sir. James Bond days are over, Or, just beginning again, who knows? Sad state of union in A lot of countries, humbled. If we Talk about food, drinks, Habits, well, we all will get along better than Pencil pushers and Politicians, agreed?? Peace John!! Thank you. May my comments be well received? Peace John, aka Magnum.
Lol yes you can say "let's get this out on to a tray" but I wouldn't be surprised if one day it changes, example....a couple people already tried suing a game over a certain dance move being used in a game.
Wow, there's enough animal fat in those cans to get you through any winter at the Russian border crossing. I wonder if folks mix some of those together.
They always keep there soliders well fed. A lot of sugar. One of main reasons why they give you a lot of sugar. From what I've heard. To put some in the meals. And if your in a pine forset you can use the pine needles to make a tea. And you can use the sugar to make it sweet. Did you know that pine needles contain more Vitamin C then oranges.
Not bad Nathan, but Steve rules the MRE kingdom.... Nothing personal but he adds life to the display and doesn't have that Ben Stein personality to dull the moment and his catch phrase " Nice and Nice Hiss " are a highlight of his videos !
Are you talking about his AK rifle or the sqare looking pad? If about the pad than it usually stores maps and other docs. On a side note, I don't know why Nathan would include this old footages of the soviet army but at what instance it shows Soviet-China war in the 60s
That's the pistol grip of his AKS-74 assault rifle, which he cares behind his back. This is absolutely normal during the foot patrol tasks and not just in russian army

"Its not a copyrighted phrase."Nice!
With today's law, it easily could be if he wanted to.
Powdered milk can only be prepared with hot water. You can try putting in a small amount of hot water, stir it, and then add room temp water to even it out.
Enjoyed that. Seems a decent ration. A bit more coffee, separate creamers, pepper and perhaps hot sauce would be nice.
I wonder if Steve will swing by. That'd be pretty *NICE*

Brayden Hey look! A fellow fur!
Elliott Larsen NICE!

Nice video & great editing. You and Steve should collaborate on rations within a 100 year timeline.
As always, thanks so much for the great content! Appreciate all you do!
Thank you for watching, it makes me happy that people enjoy the videos
I think it it finally time for the Russian peoples to be our friends and no longer our foes. We can get things done as friends faster than as enemies.
Fuck russia and its imperialism.
fuck america and its imperialism too
admiral preparedness....i agree...and their women are ridiculously hot
@@szczurpiekielny7756 Fuck everyone... we're all gonna die.
Can't we all just get along?

on the tray......Nicccce!
First time seeing this ration. It looked very nice. Very heavy ration. Great review Nathan. Thanks for the shout outs.
just something that popped up and I happened to see it, thanks for watching
"we're trying to be different from anyone else." *"let's get this out onto a tray."*

Rarely anything goes to waste, but the kasha in this one got tossed, not worth the chance from the look and smell of it, thanks for watching
I've heard that it's good to mix coffee with the dry milk.
Anyway another great review of a ration!
Does anyone have a source to buy just a can of kasha online?

You thought that vitamin pill had vitamins in it? Hah!

I really want that glass, I say this every time you use it.
When I was washing it yesterday I almost broke it, but its still safe and will be in the next video
Lol yes you can say "let's get this out on to a tray" but I wouldn't be surprised if one day it changes, example....a couple people already tried suing a game over a certain dance move being used in a game.
what translator are you using sir?
Wow, there's enough animal fat in those cans to get you through any winter at the Russian border crossing. I wonder if folks mix some of those together.
What's the name of the app you use to translate the packaging?

Do you have a link to the National Anthem ?
I want to try one of these Russian mres. Badly for some reason just looks good
Not bad Nathan, but Steve rules the MRE kingdom....
Nothing personal but he adds life to the display and doesn't have that Ben Stein personality to dull the moment and his catch phrase " Nice and Nice Hiss " are a highlight of his videos !
Very cool and awesome video 😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎
My husband was in Vietnam and when ever he ate other than at he always wipe off his silver ware.
why bother opening an mre if you don't eat all of it... you waste so much food if you do that
What is the name of your car channel?
Nathan's diy garage, and yes spam pretty much
0:22 WHY does he have a gun holstered on his back?? He couldn't
Reach it
I guess that is the way things are done in mother Russia
Nathan's MRE my point was, he wouldn't be able to reach it.
Are you talking about his AK rifle or the sqare looking pad? If about the pad than it usually stores maps and other docs. On a side note, I don't know why Nathan would include this old footages of the soviet army but at what instance it shows Soviet-China war in the 60s
I'm talking about what looks like the hand grip of a gun on his back, visible here at 0:22 .
That's the pistol grip of his AKS-74 assault rifle, which he cares behind his back. This is absolutely normal during the foot patrol tasks and not just in russian army
And without any futher ado.
next time use hot water on the powdered milk
Just in casies!
Isn't that pitc&er,
19:31 The pork sausage looks like potted meat to me.
36th serry
looks pretty good, only thing I would not eat is the pork since I don't eat pork anyway
We haaave....
Never thought i’d be stupid enough to say this, but....
First
You were first for sure lol thanks for watching
Thanks Nathan.
Could you (if you have the time/funds) check out a Dutch or German military ration?
Cheers.
