Haha pleased to meet you! When I walked away I was a bit scared that it might have felt like an invasion of privacy, but very happy to hear it was a James Bond feeling instead. It alway amazes me how they built these towns clinging to the cliffs. My parents lived in Italy in the 70’s and visited this area. They always wanted to go back. Sadly my Dad passed away in 2018. I would love to take my Mom back here some day before it gets too hard for her to travel.

I mean how was that for fun and pleasure? Beautiful views from a boat. Next time maybe a smaller boat with a little more space. I just love all the little towns up and down the coastline. Each with its own colors and little odd and wonderful accents along the walk ways. So many hikes to be had. Never ending great food. TY for sharing. LOL your a celebrity now. Who''d a thunk that?
We stayed in Porto Venere 3 years ago and walked the Cinque Terre. Thank you for taking us on your day out. We cannot travel from Australia at the moment so coming along with you was wonderful and brought back beautiful memories.

Brings back memories of 2014 September 24 having spent the day hiking village to village to Monterosso and then catching, only just, the last ferry back to La Spezia just on sunset. It was spectacular dragged my wife's Blurb photo diary so many valuable photos and written memories. Glad she took the effort at the end of each day. You're certainly very fortunate to have the travel freedom in that special part of Europe, envious.

We did that boat trip a few years ago. Just beautiful scenery. Can't wait to travel again. We love Italy.
I've been to the Cinque Terre twice. They are magical. The first time we went, there were hardly any tourists, but the second time the towns were over-run. Try seeing in the off-season.

What was the temperature?
That was a great outing. Of course being here in the US I have to launch Google Earth, so I can figure out where you are site seeing. It’s really a beautiful coastline and the villages and town so charming. And the water is beautiful too! Lunch looked yummy! Thanks for sharing, James, James Bond! 😎😎

I visited the cinque terra in the 90s and stayed in monterosa many days. It was a quieter place then but the hikes were breathtaking

If you slow it down to 1/2 is probably speed he drove and makes relaxing viewing, there are days I am glad he double speeded but today with cup of jasmine tea....

Unfortunately swordfish is endangered, I believe. Although it’s very tasty, don’t eat it.

Special request: can you please post videos with a more regular frequency i.e. one a week, instead of seeing nothing for several weeks, then getting three a week, difficult to keep up. Subscribers appreciate consistency, rather than the channel going dormant for a time, only to be suddenly brought back to life with too much content being delivered too quickly.
It does not bother me. When I do see a notification I just smile. He is a busy guy with his work life. Coming to Italy is like his vacation time unless you see him covered in dirt and sweat from the construction mess. Which I believe was why he has this channel. Building a second home. So it a little different than other channels. Its a two for. Getting to see the beauty of Italian places and construction of old places.
Doesn't bother me either. It's his channel, to do with as he pleases and we are fortunate that he does film and upload when he does!

It doesn't bother me, quite the opposite. He's got a real life and a real job, he's not a professional RUclipsr and I find the authenticity all the more appealing.
