I found that the armor buster great weapon was best for this. It comes with 50% armor penetration as a passive. Along with the sentinel overcoat that gives you 60% blunt armor penetration. Then just throw on crit damage crystals on your weapon and you can get anywhere from 50-75% crit damage just from crystals. Most endgame bosses end up having about 50-60% armor in various armor types so this is the most important thing to take care of first. You can only get 25% armor penetration from crystals in blunt or slash, and 40% in tech - which kinda makes the auto 50% from the armor buster greatweapon completely broken.
