I have it and while the autofocus is great it isn’t good in busy environments. Even on settings that should lock on the focus it still jumps around and i’ve read very similar stories. If you’re filming one person/a very obvious protagonist there is nothing better but for event videography it’s worse than my A7C. While it is a bit “dumber” it doesn’t jump around as much or have this weird pulsing thing in busy places
@@RudyVisuals I have yeah. Was at a game yesterday and had the same issue I can have it set to locked on and it will still pulse and skip around. I feel I may have a shoddy item

Have you tried setting the focus shift sensitivity to 1? It's usually fine for me and I film a lot of events!
