Both Meg and Icarus Are just an example of how old lions can be and still be so strong and energetic. These two lions do prove that lions are truly social creatures and how they formed a bond as if Meg and Icarus were raseed together or as if they met many years ago. Thanks Kev and Much Love!

Sometimes we forget how talented Kevin is and that while we see seemingly perfect situations with wild animals they nonetheless have their own minds and plan. It is just how skilled Kevin and all those involved with these beautiful animals understand them, provide for them and care for them that makes it look so easy.
How lucky he is despite him learning their body sign and their natural instinct the lion love his presence and trust him enough for them to learn kevin vulnerable body and his limit of energy for them to co exist as family
It's wonderful to see how much you pay attention to their needs and moods, and adjust your actions accordingly. That's love and respect in action.
I always admire his actions depend mostly on behalf of the lions interest and comfort zone instead of his self interest actions
So sweet that even tho Meg is tired, she still wants to follow her friends

Well here it is the video a lot of you have been asking for ! It did not quite go to plan with Meg and Icarus. Interesting to see the dynamic how some Lions are with different prides. I am so pleased at how this has worked out for Meg and Icarus as a pairing. Trying to capture that on a filming...you can never be prescriptive, it is always down to the animals. I so love all your animals. You are so lucky. That's what I miss so much are the Lions Roars at night. I'm Irish and I lived in Kent UK. Beautiful place. Just down the road a few miles away from where I was living is The Big Cat Sanctuary. They have all types of Lions, Black Panters, Tigers and many more. I miss listening to the Lions roaring at night time, every night. As I came back to Ireland after a few years. It took me a long time to get over not hearing the Lions at night. I still do. Thank you for an enrichment walk with Meg and Icarus!! The hot weather sounds incredible, how nice to have a bit of wind. Meg and Icarus both look healthy, sleek and beautiful. If we were keeping score, that was Meg 2, Kevin 0, lol. I love that Meg still bowls over Kevin with her love and joy. Icarus sounded sweet, talking to Kevin while he watched Thor's pride. That is interesting seeing Thor's pride quiet reaction to Icarus. Their roars at the end of the video are soo lovely, they have lots to say! Can you please do more enrichment walks or quality time in their enclosures with your furry friends this year, please??🥰😍🦁🦁❤❤

As soon as Kev started to walk away from Meg I called it that she'd get up and follow straight away. Kev is pure comfort and safety for Meg. She really has a dependence on him

Never get tired of hearing you giggle from all the Meg tackles. 😅. And Icarus basically camping out by the fence refusing to be intimidated by Thors group. I noticed how you tread softly with Mr. Grumpy pants. Such interesting dynamics to see between them. Makes me wonder, do any of the prides get along or not mind being near any of the others? Nice private time with Meg though, very nice. 😊🧡🩵
Beautiful Meg 🦁♥ I have a soft spot in my heart for senior cats since having seen my little domestic cats age. They seemed to become wiser and were so dignified, even dealing with health issues.
It's incredible to see the beautiful Meg still running and flopping on HER Kevin ( at her respectable age). Yep I love my sweet little George.I still see that little cub.
It’s always a great walk if Meg is along. And I know that she’s a very mature lion, but she still likes to mow you down. That’s our beautiful Meg!!

Is it known if Meg's tuft of upright hair by her ear is naturally occurring or a result of an injury perhaps. It is very cute and so easily identifies her. Thanks for all the videos.

I’ve been watching Kevin’s videos for years, but even now I feel like my heart’s about to stop on occasion, watching him interact with these lions. He’s a very special person in that he’s able to do this. I like the way he makes people understand that lions are not pets, and never can be.

we love this video because you can hear all the natural sounds -- (sorry to say that sometimes those music soundtracks hurt our head ... lol!) after all, isn't an enrichment walk all about being out in the natural world with sights, sounds and smells...and even though we can't smell or feel the cool breezes, to hear the birds and insects and even the crunching sound of dried grasses underfoot -- we're nearly there with you and the Cats...we love it! :)
I appreciate what Kevin does involves so much work that we don’t see in the videos that the majority of couldn’t do, but for one day, I would love to be Kevin. What a meaningful life surrounded by beauties

Firstly, I feel ya Kev, I'm in Queensland Australia and our summer has been 100% humidity, not every day but enough, can't breath humidity. So, we feeling ya..I think this was a realy good video, to all the comments I see about you and maybe getting hurt by the animals. This video showed how you read Icarus's, his mood and than how you handled it. Meg looks as beautiful as ever. 🇦🇺
