I am looking at a ‘18 pursuit 5.7 hemi AWD. I had an AWD magnum so I kinda like the quick launch

I got this one and my last one from Chicago Motors. Just have to keep an eye on their website. They get new inventory all the time.

I bought a 2016 Pursuit last year. Also made the mistake of not checking the idle hours. 9200 hrs on mine. The dealer put a cam and lifters in it, but 6 months after it ticks all the time and especially when cold. I actually had to install an aftermarket driveshaft hanger. The original tore up, and the only other option was to replace the entire driveshaft! I've pretty much had every problem you described in your video, so I'll definitely be looking forward to part 2.

Sounds about right. After having the same issues on more than one car I figured I could save some people from the same problems. Part 2 is likely gonna cover the basic maintenance and some of the inexpensive things I added to the car. Then I'm gonna try and get some 0-60 times before and after the new pedal commander.

Nice! Any major repairs? Likely the department probably had to change things already before you got it. I use Royal Purple

@@seanchristianii3206 No major repairs, I had to do the CV axles cause they went bad under my ownership. I do also need to do the heater hoses as they seep a little and my exhaust was damaged by the department but that's a good excuse for me to get a catback lol. Nothing too serious and no drivability issues- fun to drive. Royal Purple is good too!

@gamergye sounds like it was well kept or the department already had to do the work. Is the hose you're having an issue with the same as the one I pointed out?

Great and above all Very informative. Thank you for sharing your experience and knowledge. I was about to close a deal on a 2018 Charger PPV. Upon seeing your video, I asked for the idle hours…Car has 9,600 idle hours. 🤦🏽…

Nope. Armed security, K9 unit. "Hellcop" is just the name of the logo for the Pursuit badging I'm using. Retired Cruisers Club does have a lot of active duty cops though so sometimes you may see cars with blue lights on my channel but this won't be one of them.

Lol. Yea another lesson learned the hard way. My 1st time doing my own brakes. I was driving the charger when i bought the pads. Then we took the car apart and it didnt fit so we when back with the old pads and the ones they sold me. They litterally typed in Pursuit and knowingly sold me RT pads. Im like, "you literally had 1 job." 😑

I also ordered drilled and slotted rotors. Called the company to make sure they were sending me the right rotors. They "verified fitment," and sure enough, they didn't fit.

    • @seanchristianii3206

@gofastnys Dodge claims they chanced a fuse and a relay (without my permission). Harness burned up. They never gave me the repair paperwork and the maintenance supervisors won't return my calls. They lied about even having the paperwork done. Have a lawyer dealing with it.
