- I loved watching the Thomas VHS tapes as a kid, so I thought I'd try and emulate that style with the trilogy of episodes I created over the past year. I've thoroughly enjoyed writing for those 3 characters, and look forward to collaborating with other users in the future!
I have also got a very special announcement coming within the next couple of months...
I'd like to say a huge thank you to B-Squad for making the music for "Accidents Happen". They're super talented and I cannot thank them enough for this incredible piece of music. Go ahead and like their facebook page: / bsquadarefab

THOMAS AND THE SEASIDE STORM: Thomas sometimes gets bored of doing the same thing everyday, but a trip to the seaside soon changes that!
BENEATH THE BRANCHLINE: After saving the children from the storm at the seaside, Thomas feels that work on the branchline is beneath him.
WASHOUT: Percy and Toby look after the branch line while poor Thomas is mended at the works, but Percy soon runs in to trouble.
ACCIDENTS HAPPEN: What is Thomas & Friends without a smash, a crash and a bash? Sing-a-long to the rock version of this classic!
DISCLAIMER: This video was created for older fans and adults who grew up with the older seasons of Thomas the Tank Engine, and want to enjoy a nostalgic trip back in time. It is safe for kids to enjoy and watch, but they are not the primary intended audience.

The second story legit feels like season 24 Thomas interacting with the classic characters
Is that a good thing or a bad thing?
@@thomasfan9517 good
One to one, I can see. However, I always saw this as true Thomas. Gets cocky when he does something amazing and getting his just desserts and learning to check his privillage. Though I say one to one cause old Thomas would of been more rude than cocky. What I mean is that this Thomas goes “I’m the greatest cause I did something great” where as old Thomas would of gone, in a aggressive tone “Why must I do the same things again!? I’m better than this!”.
“I’ll show James I’m not scared of water, and I won’t be late.”
Long story short, Percy is now scared of water and was definitely late.
hahahaha, it backfired pretty quick! XD
I love washout. One of the best Christopher Awdry stories. And you remade it awesomely. I love your original stories also. The stakes in The Seaside Storm with the fire and the boy falling was thrilling to say the least. I love your work. I can't wait for the rest of season 2.
This brought memories of the good old days. Thanks, man!
Thank YOU! That means a lot :)
@@TheTrainModeller I like that Accidents Will Happen remake but why are the accidents so exaggerated?(Not saying they were bad)
@@bryanleon9675 I think I'm always trying to one-up the previous, and that results in some pretty crazy stuff :O
@TANK ENGINE GAMER45 hahaha! 😁😁
@TANK ENGINE GAMER45 Thank you man! That was real fun to do. Keep an eye out for later, I've got a new video coming out :D
Impressive. Especially the "Accidents Will Happen" cover. :)
Thank you so much. The cover was done by the ever-so talented B-Squad!
Magnificent Stories with the Branchline Engines! Also the Accidents Will Happen Music Video was really catchy and rocking!! Excellent work.
Thank you so much!!
I can't get over the production quality of your videos! They remind me SO much of the original series!
Thank you so much man. That means a lot :)
This was amazing. The sets, models, steam, it was all around perfect.
Thank you man. You're too kind!
@@TheTrainModeller j
@TheTrainModeller Your sets are amazing, bro! What happened to Brett, or should I say, Thomasdotd?
This is real good the camera work the models every thing is excellent 💯💯💯💯
Thank you so much my friend, I'm really glad you liked it! :)
Love the Rock style of Accidents Will Happen
Used to watch this on my local pbs station back in the late 80's. Now my 3 year old son like to watch this as he played with wooden trains. The police box at the station was a nice touch. Nice doctor who easter egg!
Ah that’s brilliant, glad your son enjoys them now! Thank you so much - love Doctor Who :)
Well, this is fantastic! The set designs, visual effects of the smoke from the funnels and weather, and the camera work and angles are all beautifully done. The storylines fit very well with the older era of the show. Real nostalgia trip watching this, I need to go and dig out my Ringo Starr era VHS now! Great work.
Thank you so so much, this is exceptionally kind. I definitely enjoy that classic style so much and it's been fun writing episodes in that way. I've got many more to come...! :D
It's really good seeing Thomas interacting with his driver, I really love those interactions
How did you make the steam come out of the engines’ funnels?
Hey! I converted them to DCC and fitted suethe smoke units!
I know this is COMPLETELY RANDPM..but... I’VE FOUND SOMEONE WHO IS GRAMMATICALLY CORRECT!
@@JackDev12 random.
This just definitely has classic Thomas written over it. Simple but enjoyable stories and nameboards. Wish they still did those.
Thank you so much. I know!! The nameboard are iconic!
I do feel sad about the current path of Thomas as a franchise so when I feel down it is nice to watch one of your videos to bring back that proper thomas feeling
That's definitely what I'm trying to do here, bring back that classic series feeling. Really glad you enjoyed it man :)
Amazing job keep it up !!! Hahahahaha this is more interesting then the babyish CGI
Thank you so much dude! :D
Well done dude this brought me back memories
Thank you man -- I'm really glad!! That's exactly what I was going for!!
I really wish the Bachmann company should make most of their Thomas & Friends new with several new and improved upgrades. I know their meant to look like their t.v. series counterparts but still they really should modify most of their models. Bachmann Duck and Oliver are perfectly fine but the Duck model has a few things that need fixing.
I'd love for Bachmann to do ALT faces too, that would be very interesting!
@@TheTrainModeller for starters they should give most of the model new CGI styled faces. Especially Bachmann Thomas needs a lot of new and improved upgrades.
@@TheTrainModeller I actually love both Bachmann and Hornby Thomas & Friends models.
They need to finally paint that area between James’ boiler running board and wheel splashers black
I have a Duck in ho scale,. Only problem I have with it is, it keeps de railing over the points (switches) on my layout
Right when the storm came and the kids were at the abandoned line I was like: OH NO THEYRE GONNA DIE
hahaha, thnak goodness they're okay!
I love Thomas and the other trains. My memories are coming bk and I love it all over again
Never thought I'd hear Rock Accidents Happen but I'm glad I did
Wow the accidents were amazing! Hope none of the beautiful models got damaged haha
Thank you so much! The models are all okay, thankfully :)
Thomas:*flips off track then rolls down hill*
Driver and fire men: *Completely unscathed*
How haven't I watched the accidents will happen that you made those shot are so amazing like seriously they look amazing
Thank you so muhc man, that was a lot of fun to make!
A really nice video to make me feel young again.
Thank you man! :)
this is so good
thank you!
Amazing I love the work you put into it and how you had someone to sang the song accident will happen.
this is a master piece
This is very realistic hmmm amazing
Thank you very much man :)
@@TheTrainModeller welcome sir
I'm speechless. How you replicated it,the music you chose is actually very fitting!you did a good job, especially the models, like you actually added smoke! You also did a pretty good job controlling it!
I hope to see more of your work!

Thank you so much, welcome to the channel! The music is made by some extremely talented people! And the smoke is so fun man!! Thank you again :D
This was great, it was like season 2 episodes
Thank you very much! :D
Marvelous music in episode 3.
The musicians in this fandom are so so talented!
I agree.
I dont know who's been directing TTTE nowadays, but uh...
I think you should replace them.
WOW! Thank you so much man. That's, that means so much to me :)
Indeed.
Your sets are amazing speeking of sets how did you do the river set it was amazing and I love how you modified Paxton’s face. In fact this whole video was amazing great work
Thank you so much! The river set was achieved with tarpauling and a hose, Paxton is actually a complete custom (built before the Bachmann model) and I used the Trackmaster face!
I LOVE YOUR SINGING! YOU DESERVE A SUBSCRIBER AND A VIDEO LIKE!
Wow! You've done wonders with these adaptations! And what an awesome music video!
Thank you so much, I'm really glad you enjoyed them! :D
@@TheTrainModeller Hope you can make stories that involve with either the big engines, Bill and Ben or Donald and Douglas soon.
This is just beautiful I love the you’ve really outdone yourself this time wish you luck ;)
Thank you so much. I'm really excited for the future content to show !
@@TheTrainModeller me to!
I think you underestimate how difficult it would be to drive along a railway that has been abandoned for years.
Thomas would have to go slow, and stop regularly to clear the track of the debris that has fallen upon it, and occasionally pull out trees that have sprouted on the line. And that's presuming the track wasn't pulled up and the bridges are still sound, and there's been no subsidence or mud slides.
Nice episode and song
Thank you!! :D
Bro,I’m getting nolgastia feelings this was enjoyable.
Thank you so much -- definitely trying to tap into that nostalgia feeling :D
Oh my word, this is awesome!
Thank you so much!! :D
This is is the best I wach this on dvd grate content I mean how it is is like how I wach it on dvd.
Definitely, it's really fun doing a compilation version.
The treatment of the models in the accidents happen music video gives me anxiety. Amazing episodes either way!
hahaa, They're all okay my man ;) And thank you so much!
I'm very impressed about how you took the time to make this.
Thank you so much. I'm enjoying making these episodes so much.
Thomas being bored with life is so relatable 😭😭😭😭
spot on
Thank you! :)
I wish i was this guy this is incredible
Dude!! Thank you, but you are you, and that is amazing. Hope that you're doing well!
TheTrainModeller I am and I am also very excited to see some of your new videos and by the way your remake of the Thomas Gets Bumped episode is perfect
I really liked the music video at the end. Nice touch.
thank you! I always liked how the VHS had some tunes too :D
Great video’s and stories! I love the first 4 seasons! I’m subscribed!
Thank you so much man, I've got lots more to come this year! :D
@@TheTrainModeller Great!
Older seasons, damn, i remember Everytime I'd go to my Nana's house I'd always watch Percy's Chocolate Crunch, or New Friends For Thomas, i don't think i was around during the classic era, i was born when season 10 of the model series was in production, so it levels out. Im not sure if i can call myself a classic Thomas fan, but I've been watching Thomas since I was 2, I'm 13 atm
Dude that's awesome memories to have. I loved watching VHS tapes and DVDs. Glad you're a fan of the show man :)
i love your Thomas and friends video
Thank you so much!
your welcome
Omg AMAZING!!! all u need is eye rolling now
Definitely man, Aaron has been helping me more with the latest episodes! :)
cant beat good old style crash brings back memories of good old days watching thomas on tv n going to bluebell railway to see stepney these days have model railway its thomas and friends that got me started lol :)
Definitely, crashes are so much fun. The bluebell railway is incredible, I've been there a few times. Really interesting railway.
Who made the season 3 style rendition of SA’s Branchline Train theme at 11:11?
Is it ok that I’m a child who respect this for its production value and nostalgia?
100% my friend! And that means a lot to me :)
Amazing video
Thanks! :D
10:23 at least the crash wasn’t as scary as Thomas’ face when he crashed the first time. I have always been scared of that episode and A Close Shave.
This intro is amazing and the hole. episode
Thank you very much man! :)
Really took me back thanks man. Concider me your newest subscriber :)
Thank you man, welcome! Anything in particular you'd like to see me make in the future?
TheTrainModeller honestly just keep up the good work and do what you are passionate about because that will lead to the best results. However a donald and douglas and/or gordon episode would go down a treat with me :) Awesome work and keep it up 👍
@@WillSchofe890 I've actually got a Gordon and James episode coming this Sunday! :D
TheTrainModeller Awesome man, cant wait!!!!
I bet you had fun making the music video
The music video was lots of fun to do, got to love crashes :D
I am 13 years old, I watched the first season when I was either 5 or 6.
oh wow! What did you think?
Great I am such a big Thomas Fan even when I am actually 19years of age why not watch Thomas
Thank you so much. Exactly, it's a really charming show :)
@@TheTrainModeller I know it is I just spotted The TARDIS in this
Love the Toby and the flood nod roles reverse
Definitely! There's some toby and the Flood vibes for sure!
I wasn’t really there, but I like the VHS better than CGI. Series 1-6 and Thomas and the magic railroad were good until series 7 came along
There was definitely a whole different vibe to the older series.
0:39 Switch scenes before Thomas hits the end of the set!
hahaha, just in time ;)
Will you do a video about Nia's first time with the Troublesome Trucks on Sodor, please?
I'm working on many other episodes at the moment but I'll definitely see what I can do! :D
Plus love the story about the reckless kids and these things can happen how true that people do get into some Predicaments where you put yourself and others at risk of injury
Exactly, you just don't realise sometimes!
I like/love watching Thomas and Friends VHS tapes too when I was little kid and I still like/love the Thomas the tank engine VHS tapes I miss the good old days happy 75th anniversary of Thomas and all of his Friends 🚂💙💛❤🎂🎂🎂🥳🥳🥳🥳🎊🎊🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🚂💙💛❤❤🎂🥳🎉🎊🎂🎂🥳🥳🥳🎉🎉🎊🚂💙💛❤🎂🥳🎉🎊🎂🥳
Happy 75th Anniversary!! :D I used to LOVE the VHS tapes... I'm sure I have them in my loft somewhere!
@@TheTrainModeller I has lots of Thomas and Friends VHS tapes
How did you do the water effects without ruin towards the DCC circuit boards? Do you swap out the models with "dummy" models when they go in the water?
Exactly that! When Percy is on the bridge that's his dummy model with a removed motor :D
Great job man
Thank you!!
Did the models fall off the set, or did everything go well in 1 take?
100/10
Wow! Thank you :D
These feel like they would belong in Season 5 😊
Thank you so much man. I can't wait for my new episodes to be uploaded. There's so much to come!! :D
@@TheTrainModeller I can't wait forgot to say that was so good, but it's nice to be able to relive the days when the series was in its prime 😊💖
Ah yes I can see that your a engine of culture as well.
Are you using a Seuthe Smoke Unit for the engines?
I am indeed! Seuthe 22 :D
TheTrainModeller cheers
it feels like the real tv show
Wow!! THank you man :)
Love your videos! But can you let me know, did you changed the couplings? Is it hard to attach the couplings? And what material did you use to mold the faces?
Best wishes
Edward
Hey Edward! Thank you so much. The couplings on the engines are LP Smiths screw link kits, and on the rolling stock they're the 3 link kits. and the faces in this episode are mostly Wooden Railway faces! :D
@@TheTrainModeller Thank you for letting me know!
Also Bachmann is making models again or are these custom faces?
These are custom facesfrom Wooden raiwlay models!
maybe I might make something like this but in Diapet. good video nonetheless
Thank you very much!
@@TheTrainModeller no problem i respect everyone here.
Holy shit, that music video was brutal
How many engine models have you gone through so far, because there's no way James survived being flung across a set
Funnily enough, that is the same James I use to this day, he's absolutely fine :D I've gone through quite a few Thomas and Percy's, but not because of damage but because I've made different versions such as SLOTLT Thomas, Paint Splattered, and then with Percy I've made into Lady in the past.
@@TheTrainModeller were there any sort of repairs after that "accident"
Are those large g scale? Or ho/oo scale?
Also how did u get the steam to come out of their funnel?
I grew up with the classics even though I was born in 2006, this reminds me of my favorite Thomas dvd I had which is races, rescues, and runaways. You did a great job, but I’m wondering how did you do the fire without burning down your set?
Thank you so much! I had the fire controlled in a proper environment so that it wouldn't burn down the set. I wouldn't recommend trying it at hoem though!
TheTrainModeller you did a great job with the episodes and to go the extra mile and use practical effects instead of using digital effects
Is the seaside town rooted in any canon lore?
I don't believe it is, however I imagined it's a line that runs near Brendam Docks along the coast.
@@TheTrainModeller alright! I thought it had some similarities to that broken track on the coast near Tidmouth
6:15 The Tardis!
I wonder what the Doctor makes of Sodor....
The boys have been safely grounded at the hospital
They're safe and sound, thank goodness.
9:44 Good one Toby
Where did you find those replacement faces
Some of them from other toylines, e.g Thomas and Percy's faces are from the Wooden Railway range!
TheTrainModeller thank you. I always thought the Bachmann Thomas face wasn’t quite right, so thanks again
Love the angry toby face! Did you make that?
Why do i feel like henry keeps having accidents?
He’s just very accident prone :D
Percy with Annie and clarabel reminds me of sodor fallout
what brand are your figures?
The Thomas-style people? They are actually from the wind-up Thomas range!
I wish I owned these models.
bravo there nicely done Britt Allcroft Ringo Starr George Carlin Michael Angelis Mark Moraghan and David Mitton would be proud of you
Thank you so much :)
This was awesome but why does Percy keep the tired out face?
I have a very limited range of them atm! But that will change soon ;)
What's with the reupload? Did you have to fix something?
Unfortunately there were a couple of glitches so I fixed those! :)
Ah, Okay :)
6:14 why is the TARDIS There?
19:00 You just incinerate those poor trucks! They had whole lives ahead of them, only to be burned to ash!
They're troublemakers.... they did it!
1:41 heh that’s awfully close to the driver there...
That workman was really keen to tell Thomas the news hhaha!
Lol
Lol I’m a younger fan who grew up with the older show
I've tried to harken back to that style, so I hope you enjoy these videos too! :)
What's the brand of the models?
The majority of them are Thomas Bachmann models!
