They also did some bad stuff in the past, like setting Big Red Button up for failure by making them port an incompatible engine to the Wii U and not giving them much time to do it, thus giving us Sonic Boom, but not nearly as many times as other big companies which are or used to be in the console market.
Also, Sonic the hedgehog 2006 may not be a finished game, but that doesn't stop it from being great. It's more playable than Cyberpunk 2077 was on PS4 and Xbox One, and being glitchy never stopped games like S.T.A.L.K.E.R. from being considered classics.

Fun fact: This type of stunt actually got the creator, Leemena, banned from future SAGEs (Sonic Amateur Games Expo) and SFGHQ (Sonic Fan Game Headquarters) made it clear that no one should download the game for the sake of their PC and personal information.

There's a lot of people looking into genshin impact. They request admin privileges in order to launch the launcher itself. The game requires the launcher to be active in order to work properly. Also, if you play, DO NOT LET RANDOM PEOPLE INTO YOUR GAME! The server is hosted directly off of your computer. And any half-witted IT individual would know what that means.

I cannot for the life of me understand fanfic writers and their obsession with OCs. Maybe I haven't reached/not noticed the cringey fanfic phase of my writing career, because I'm more interested in molding other people's ideas (mostly story premises) into something I can call my own, not creating something entirely based off of something else, but whatever.

it gets real scary when the textures, sounds and game physics are artificially generated or altered in relation to details about your computer and/or internet connection, with an automatic reversal tool held only by the author.
Wish I was just a little more tech savvy back in 2013-ish when I got the earlier version of this game on a flash drive (then lost the drive). I'm thinking your best bet for a preserved and non laggy gameplay experience get a SonicvsLF2 build that didn't have network features.

Just gonna correct that this wasn't exactly an OC situation when this "game" was around.
Lemme start it by saying that some people in the community had a thing for sprites and flash animation. Some people were actually skilled enough to make their own customized sprites of an already existing character. The example being Sonic in SGB being able to perform attacks he's using in the Smash Bros games while using sprites from either Sonic Advance 1-3 or Battle.
I'll say that again, some people in the community have a history of editting or creating their own sprites as well as making animations, myself included back in the day. I left a long time ago.
The moment the sprites from this game got leaked, the guy wasn't really aware of the fact some people use custom sprites for (sometimes) animation purposes, so he got butthurt and kept asking people to remove them. Mostly with a pretty rude manner. Until he decided that he's had enough and decided to add that malware thing to his game.
tl;dr, he didn't made any OCs, he was just upset people kept using the sprites that he made.
I did hear that Muta mentioned sprites instead of OCs later in the video, but I still wanted to talk about this.
