A look at Game Mania magazine from 1992/93. Hands up if you remember it!

- Game Mania was a short lived UK magazine which originally began as a newspaper.
It was a family run publication and at the time they appeared on The Big Breakfast- a popular morning tv show.
I take a look at issue 1 and issue 5- which did improve a basic idea from when it launched. Sadly not too kind on this one.

I bought issue 1 with my pocket money from the newsagents in the local indoor market. I've been trying for years to remember the name of the mag and thought I'd dreamed it - I kept on and on at people (particularly Dudley of Yesterzine) about this mythical tabloid format games mag and how I'd seen the kids behind it on The Big Breakfast. I think people thought I was losing the plot so thanks for finally confirming it was all real!
Really interesting thanks. Never heard of that or the "Fistful" one you mentioned.
Fistful is quite hard to find. Only one issue as far as I know. I should get it really to go with my Dennis mag collection.
