    Aaron is a 4.6 handicap who, according to this video, is hitting his driver 340 yards and his 3W 292 yards (off the deck). Had no idea he was such a good golfer. Geez.

      What's even crazier is that if Aaron worked more on his short game (struggles like most of us amateur golfers on chipping, pitching, bunker play), think how good he'd be then! If he could get his short game down as good as his full shots he'd be a beast on the course! Already has tremendous speed and distance!

Montana, Fouts, Marino are some key players to help shape the modern passing game, but even if you era adjust their stats, are not on the same level. And im just not sure if there can be an argument made for Unitas. The passing game was in its infancy when he was in his prime. Its like Wilt chamberlain averaging 50 in his day. I think if you look across any major sport, you will find that players keep getting better, smarter, and more athletic. Albeit, a huge part of that is access to resources, training, facilities, etc. I think if you factor in era, influence, individual performance, help from team; my top 10 would have to be

      Personally I would hate to get a lesson like that during a fitting, what is the point in making like 10 quick swing changes on the day you get fitted for clubs when your swing will most likely revert back to what it previously was within a week or 2 lol.....then you are stuck with clubs you got fitted for a new temporary swing you only had for the day of the fitting, instead of the swing you've had for years. Makes no sense IMO.

      Making several changes to a swing during a fitting makes no sense to me, doing the lessons weeks/months before a fitting makes sense, but on the actual fitting day just means you are getting fitted for a new swing you've only had for 1 day and probably will never have again. If he did lessons with Trottie every week to sculpt these changes then fair enough, but as Aaron said he hardly plays golf so he most likely won't be doing lessons with Trottie every week.

    This video is such a fantastic representation of just how truly difficult golf actually is in my opinion. You have Aaron Rodgers, a truly supremely elite level athlete, hitting good shots and then hitting horrible shots. Lol. Aaron is honestly a very good golfer as well, and I believe he's a single digit player. His club/ball speed and distance show just how elite his athletic ability is and how being in such amazing shape physically translates into multiple motions and sports. If he had the time to work on his short game more, he would be a beast of a player. He's already very good and this video was very entertaining and impressive!

      I don't know the minute this is in but I will be referencing his first Match in Montana. When Aaron visited the Kingdom the first time I sent him on his way with two drivers. 1 for sea level & 1 for elevation. When you play at altitude you need more spin & the higher you can peak out a driver the further it goes. To be honest I think he still gamed the lower lofted option in Montana because his peak height at times was too low BUT he had the option. Ultimately the final choice on what someone plays always sits with the PLYR.

      Thx PLYR. I'm on here. I work for TM & have done for a long time. Majority of my time on the Tour Trucks but in more recent times they've let me loose at The Kingdom 😂👍

    Is it common to give instruction during a fitting?

    • @ciaranw1888
      @ciaranw1888 2 года назад +1

      Well no not exaclty. As a fitter you do want to fit the golfer for the swing they are working with not the one they hope to have,. With that being said if there is something glaringly obvious that will help the player then your might mention it. This also isnt just your standard fitting.
