Lovely painting there. I have opted for a slightly different paint scheme than yours but that is more about aesthetics than anything else. The Evzones are considered an elite troops so their points are more than the normal Greek squads. One unit of Evzones with 2-3 units of regular Greek army would work esp with some degree of historical accuracy. The Greek army was loosely based on the British army at that time so you can get rank decals from Bolt Action to indicate rank rather than paint them on. Its part of the 3rd infantry division decals. Something to consider if you want to indicate rank. You can use the priest as a special character like the medic in your game. I heard that some armies had a chaplain (German) which boosted the morale of the troops. You could use the same in your game. Also SOE were in Greece at this time so you could use it as an intelligence officer/artillery observer or air observer for air strikes. The L3/35 tankettes with the twin Breda machine guns would count as double machine guns could be interesting but as captured vehicles would be inexperienced....Lovely to see an army grow...I have finished my Italian army for Greece and now I am on the Greeks with just 1 Evzones squad and 2 squads of regular Greek army on the painting table....I am planning a cross border incursion for my initial game, and then an attack on a Greek village....cant wait to see the next episode and your progress
Well done, lovely army!!
Splendid progress, the army is looking fantastic. Can't wait to see them when they are on the table.
