  • 1.13.20 | 11:07 PM | OCEANSIDE - Crews responded to reports of a fire behind homes near North River Road & Sleeping Indian Road. Crews arrived to find a large and active glow of fire about 100 feet behind structures. The fire was initially difficult to access due to heavy brush. Firefighters were able to access the fire off of North River Road. The cause fo the fire is under investigation. No injuries were reported. Firefighters believe the fire to be about 3 acres but expect that number to change as better mapping becomes available.

Was there a tire buried in the bamboo? We used to set the bamboo on fire every summer to clear the beach at a Coast Guard station I was at. It burned for an hour, and took us eight hours to access and overhaul! At least the river was right there if it got too hot 😁😁😁

Steady stream on fire does not phase it . Gives more questioning of chem trails making the fuels alot more combustable
