- This is a video about the tomb of Moti Gohram in Gandawah, Jhal Magsi which is famously known as the Taj Mahal of Balochistan. When people think about the Taj Mahal, the idea of Agra comes to their minds. But there is another Taj Mahal in the Jhal Magsi district of Balochistan.
This is the tomb of Moti and Gorham which is second to none in beauty. This tomb is also more famous due to its unique structure. The story of this tomb resembles the Taj Mahal of Agra.
People tell that Sardar Gohram and Moti were husband and wife. Mai moti was a rich woman with a lot of wealth. Gohram's wife made a wish why not construct a tomb before we die? So here the work for the construction of the tomb started. The craftsmen came here from faraway areas.
The bricks for the construction of the tomb were built here. According to some sources, the hands of the laborers were also cut off after the construction of the tomb so that nobody can make such a tomb again. Now the condition of the graves of moti and gohram is also very worse.
The minarets of the tomb are also vanishing. At some points, we can see the blue bricks which remind us of the lost glory of this tomb. There is a mosque on one side of the tomb whose roof has fallen.
