Hey guys, I am gonna show you a sneak peek into the bathroom of Mumtaz Mahal. Historians say that this queen inspired the construction of Taj Mahal. If you stand on any corner of this structure, and light up candles, you can see these amazing patterns emerging on the ceiling. This is really brilliant and the reason for this is because the entire ceiling is covered with thousands of tiny mirrors. Queen Mumtaj would be lying in a bathtub at the middle of this bathroom and her maids would move the candles just like what we see today, on all the corners. And she would enjoy these visuals of sparkling lights.
In addition to this, there were musicians who were playing different musical instruments while she was taking a bath. Even the walls in this 400 year old structure, were designed to produce different sounds when tapped on. Now keep in mind, no men were allowed inside this building, but a group of Eunuch musicians were employed to play these instruments for the queen.
The walls are also full of many different carvings and paintings. Here you can see a painting of a coffee plant with bright red coffee cherries. It looks so bright because artists powdered Ruby, a semiprecious stone and used it to paint these cherries. They've also used other stones like Malachite in this building. Here you can see a carving of a grape vine with plenty of grapes. It is reported that she and the king loved drinking grape wine together.
This is the original bathtub she used. It is made of marble, built with a fountain jet in the center. This was a Jacuzzi, built 400 years ago. How did these fountains work without electricity? The water will fall from the tank on top, and the pressure would make the fountain work.
So, why did the King order that the bathroom's ceiling be adorned with thousands of mirrors? Why were these mirrors imported from Syria, to ensure they were of the best quality? The King Shahjahan could never get enough of this woman, and he would watch the thousands of images of her, on these mirrors while she was in the bath tub. Even today, you can see a thousand images of a person standing in this room. Imagine the visual effect that would have created. This is why this building is called Sheesh Mahal, which means "Palace of Mirrors". It is found at the residence of Mumtaz's palace in Agra fort, just a mile away from Taj Mahal.

But it's all cowardness of Indian Hindu kings who divided themselves and were busy in royal life's rather than a warrior , then when Muslim dynasties United Hindustan from north to south , west to east .... The emperors ( the warriors )

The Ahoms never surrendered and hence had an independent kingdom , the Sikhs revolted and had their own kingdom . The north east was not being able to touched by the moghuls . In the south Vijayanagar empire stood for 200 yrs independently . Some of the Rajput kings did collaborate with the Mughals but not all , there were kings who fought like Maharana pratap and Prithviraj Chauhan. Raja hemu fought back , Rani durgavathi of the find kingdom , the southern independent kings and finally The Marathas who not only raised an independent kingdom during Mughal rule but also took the moguls and kept them busy with war. They would have finished them in the 17 th century , just when the British got involved. The moghul’s didn’t even show much resistance to the British as they were already in broken . It was the Marathas who again took on the British in several attempts until they finally lost . So Moghul never really captured and united total India . If anybody did it was only Chandra Gupta Maurya , under the guidance of the great Chanakya . He built Akhand Bharat which included land even past the Aghan lands .

The title of video is Bathroom of Taj mahal's queen and not bathroom in Taj Mahal( because the queen was not alive to use the latter bathroom). So I guess it is the bathroom in another building and not Taj Mahal(obviously).
Bathroom is in agra Fort not in taj mahal.
He says Taj Mahal's queen which means the queen for which it was built or dedicated. He doesn't say this is in Taj Mahal.

It seems that Taj Mahal was a temple that was taken over by the Mughals and then enforced their ownership on it.
The European travelers during the era do not talk about construction of Taj Mahal, if such a monument was being constructed, surely the Travelers would have wanted to see it or written about it, strangely the travelers did not. so might mean that Taj was not built by Shahjahan, he merely took the building since he ruled..

The locked up rooms in taj mahal contain lots of hindu statues, scriptures, photos. A visitor peeked in and saw a beheaded image of Mahadev in one of the rooms. Shahjahan buried actually two shiv lingas in the name of mumtaz's grave. Actually, mumtaz's "corpse " was buried in a secret locked chamber. The tombs on the main room is to hide the Shiv lingas. The place where Tajmahal was situated had belonged to the Kachhwaha Rajas since the time of Raja Man Singh and was purchased from him by Raja Jai Singh. Latter Jai Singh's cooperation was insured in Sahajahan's imperial orders issued between 1632 & 1637 that Jai Singh provide stone mason & carts to transport marbel from the mines of Makran to Agra. (Source; Vidya Bhabana Series) .
Now if there was any shiva temple than why Jaisingh help to build a tomb there or, even why the Kachhwaha rajas selling their worshipping place to others??

A book called Shocking Truth of Taj Mahal exposed by Late Pujya P. N. Oak was took off the shelves from all book stores within few days of this book release by the Congress Govt. Am not against Muslims neither supporting Hindus.. But fact is a fact even if u try to rewrite the history . And another saddening fact is, Mumtaz died after giving birth to her 13th child. Lastly, this is not a bathroom. It is in fact a temple tank reservoir which is another tradition followed by Hindu temple and the size is custom made for each temple . Now ,modern day temples have temple tank reservoirs outside the temple. In ancient days, many temples had its temple water tank within its premises.

it would be good to record the sound patterns in that room. That is extremely useful info, most instruments from that time aren't here. During the era of the templars I recorded that info since I knew the people here would changed the instruments tone. So what I recorded since I lived in england was the ones in the christian church though i think they will match those their in india. That tone sounds the same as what I heard in my vision of the dancing in the streets during the time of Krishna, Rama and Sita, and what I seen during Shiva time.

Queen Mumtaz Mahal died in 1631 and the construction of Taj Mahal started in 1632.
So, there's no way Mumtaz Mahal can bathe in a bathroom of Taj Mahal which was completed in 1653.

Great video! The Amber Fort in Jaipur has an outdoor pavilion, 'The Crystal Palace", similarly decorated with thousands of bits of mirror - quite stunning. BTW, the flowers depicted on the wall, made of ground rubies, are poppies, not cherries.

Another great video man. Your channel has taught me more about Hinduism than I learned in studying religion in college. I’ve learned more about “art” and have seen more beautiful sculptures and reliefs than when I studied art in college.
You could easily assemble several videos from your channel to meet the criteria for college credits in art or religion with minimal tailoring.
I just started watching your videos and was saddened to hear that RUclips has engaged in racist attacks over some of the content in your videos. How any adult could confuse sculptures with pornography is beyond me. Greek sculptures are art and Hindu sculptures are pornography smacks of racism and there’s no denying it.

Praveenji, it is paramount to establish the date of construction of this monument. Whether it was constructed while *Mumtaz* was alive or was it conceived as a mausoleum for burial after her death.
With this clarification it would resolve many speculations regarding the *sheesh mahal* as well as why her grave is on the fourth floor instead of buried underground alike usual graves in cemetery.
