JT sitting just a few centimeters away from James was insane. Just hiding in plain sight. Legendary.
jt was just chillin
Was brilliant 😂😂
You guys should do it in the pitch Black and james has to wear a night vision that is like what he can see on (The Chronicles of Riddick)
😂
They swapped back at the perfect moment as well, If JT hadn't tried to be daring he probably would've lasted
Tyler and Bogdan definitely had the best hiding spots. They endured siting/standing in a wall and floor for 3 hours.
And maybe risky their life :D
@@MINI-MOI4321 if i were them I would 100% grab an o2 tank with me for the 3 hours.
@@Vagulerlol
@@Vagulerso you would go full space engineers?
@@ghfgh_ yes, honestly I don't understand how you can hide in such unbreathable without extra o2. And o2 tanks aren't that expensive I belive
Honestly, Tyler made probably the cleanest and most invisible spot of all. Bogden was in a cut wall so had some form of opening, but Tyler's had absolutely no telling that it was altered and looked like perfectly normal floor tile.
The only way he could have done it better is to put insulation on the underside of the panel so that James wouldn’t notice via heat signature
@@sgrey9181 needs a thermal masking blanket
@@sgrey9181 although thermal cameras in hide-and-Seek does fee a bit... Bad
Funniest has to be JT and Andreas hiding in plain sight in the office while James goofed around with his card trick, but Tyler and Bogdan had the best hiding spots for sure. Hard to pick between the 2 though
I love that everyone was running interference keeping Jame distracted.
JT fan favourite? The insulation was the best hiding spot in my opinion though, especially when James said how disgusting that would be. Like what's coming next year, hiding in the septic tank?
he had a suit and mask on he wouldn't have felt the insulation
@@BobaPhettamine you are right, he wouldn't "feel" it, but deffinitly being packed with that much insulation, your suit would be drenched from sweat... the INSULATION does work when you have a suit on.
The insulation was amazing, he didn't think anyone could stand hiding there and also the insulation would work great at combating the thermal camera.
@@BobaPhettamine The issue there is that the seeker _would_
Someone will be on the roof
JT hiding in plain sight was awesome
Where’s my comment
Am I first or not it shows I’m first
There’s no comments other then mine
I’m confused
OK IM FIRST
I’m surprised that so many hid from a thermal camera and left little to no clues on where they hid. I was most impressed with JT hiding in plain sight and how long he pulled it off with eyes on him so frequently.
I really wish other companies understood the importance of this kind of team building. This is the kind of stuff that makes memories and employees will be talking about at future jobs about how they used to work for the coolest company ever.
JT hiding was the best I've ever seen. Dude was just sitting there like nobody's business while James was running around. Legendary.
JT keeping his cool with James leaning over his shoulder was _absolutely_ the best! That said, Tyler's hole in the floor was prolly the most effective spot.
JT hiding right in front James at the desk was by far the best, even though he got caught eventually.
Wow! Lots of good hiding spots this year!
It's be a shame if someone secretly spent all year digging a hole with a trapdoor somewhere to hide in...
some ppl kinda almost did that.
this looks like a job for @colinfurze!
Just build an entire underground tunnel system lmao
Someone needs to incorporate a hiding spot in a project and sit on it for 6 months just to win next year.
I was just thinking about this
i think they did something is with "invisibility glass" they got one in a window and hid between the window and the that stuff it could be cool
If the Hacksmith Industries ever move to another building, the next occupant will find an unusual amount of hidey holes and secret passages throughout the entire property.
The insulation hiding spot was 200iq. When James pulled out the thermal camera, I thought “he is not going to find that person with the camera”.
The simultaneously stupidest and one of the smartest hiding spots was definitely the insulation. 1) one can not touch it unless they are wearing protection (which is both great and horrible for the hider), 2) no one is going to notice and insulation pile being more piled than usual, and 3) it naturally insulates heat with its power of being insulation.
*3 years ago I said the team had to step their game up* and made recommendations. Almost all of those ideas, even the incredibly stupid, dangerous, and impractical ones have now been successfully performed by the Hacksmith team. I think I suggested replacing an engine with a shell replacement, and duplicate Ikea couches moved in specifically for the event. Amazing. I suggested using a concrete saw to cut a hole through the slab, Tyler just dug under the tile in the bathroom and Rob did it outside. I suggested "the ninja" who hides in plain sight or just avoids James's movement, JT delivers. I suggested whole hidden wall sections, Bogdan shows me it can be done 2 years in a row. Don't care if I didn't inspire it, just happy to see it done. *The brains on Tyler. The balls on JT. The stamina of Bogdan. Those three win the hearts and minds of the Hacksmith Subscribership for the 2023 Annual Hide and Seek Championship.* Honorable mention to Hunter for "Latched not Locked" technically correct (the best kind of correct), and to Jess, for demonstrating why money isn't everything for the 3rd year in a row.
JT's hiding wasn't only physical, it was psychological
Man, JT's Agent 47 blend-in was so clutch.
Hacksmith Hide n' Seek? Yes please! The cleanup must've taken ages!
The man who dug his own grave definitely went above and beyond 😂
Imagine your hiding and all you hear is James reading off his sponsorship for Shopify
A ghillie suit in the woods would surely come in clutch next year
Outdoors was off limits though
JT had the smartest but simplest play of them all lol
Tyler legit had popcorn and dug a hole in the ground AND put a tile over it. If it was down to the last man, he'd be one the last found, aside from Bogdan. Although, if Bogdan had to sit there for half a day he would've moved himself.
The floor was top notch, especially since there was tile. Good job Tyler
I love how much team work they put in, and I love how often James walked past some people in plain sight lol
I feel like someone who wants to win this should plan super far ahead... build a spot early in the year so that people get used to seeing whatever changes are made to the surroundings...
JT hining in plain sight and keeping it together was legendary tier
This looks like so much fun! Despite the high-pressure work environment and the demands of producing RUclips content while simultaneously designing and building some of the coolest tech, y'all still manage to bring your A game to hide-and-seek. Great job!
JT and Hailey's my favorite.
Pulling off the Hitman disguise strategy will always be amazing.
I look forward to this vid every year. Smartest game of hid and seek ever. Can't be to upset at not finding people when you help hire such smart and creative people! I just love that you make sure to have fun with your staff. Its something we all love for in a boss.
JT was a genius, he just pulled an icarus moment and flew too close to the james
13:24. I can sense the fear emanating off him as his seeker is literally standing right next to him.
JT's hiding spot deserves commendation, James was stood next to him and had no goddamn idea
At one point he was close enough to JT to see how his hair parted on the top!
JT should get like MVP or something for being out in the open the entire time
I love this. I think my favorite was Tyler in the floor.
This is one of my favorite HS videos each year.
Tyler’s spot was legendary.
This was so fun and wholesome to watch. Great video!!
This was so much fun to watch, love all the creative hiding spots!
This year's spots were sooooo good! The creativity is on point 🎉
JT hiding in plain sight right next to James while he's toying around with a card wallet is gold
Under the floor with popcorn was the best, especially as they could actually get out if needed
now this is PROFESSIONAL hide and seek lol God bless !
Great job hiding this year!!! I think Tyler had my favorite spot besides Jacob's spot.
It would be so fun to do a hide and seek with y'all.
I always love your videos. Thanks for all the work and keep it up!
JT hiding at somebody else's desk and doing their job was *inspired*
This really made me laugh. Thanks for that. ❤
JT and Andreas literally being in the same room as James while he was attempting that trick with the credit card and not getting caught at first was crazy, if Matt and JT didn't swap back JT probably would've made it the rest of the time even after James checked the cameras considering he touched the mannequin right next to JT and didn't even notice
these people are crazy. the editor could put an arrow anywhere on the screen and they could make a full-on fort or a hiding spot out of it.
Dropping a bobblehead of yourself is both hilarious and tragic 😂
Love these videos every year
Fantastic contest you folks ran there, impressive and inventive hiding spots indeed 👍 the in plain sight move was bloody metal🤘
The guy under the palate is legit a ninja!
maybe...in about 8 years, i may have done and received a phd and a diplom for physics
and then it would be such a honor to work with you guys.
great video i say. the world needs more of this 😊
I genuinely give a pat on the back to every hiding spot this is *amazing*
I am. Excited for this video! I love everything you do!
What if someone gave an airtag to the cameraman following James and kept track of where he was and avoided him for 3 hours
Oh shit did that get cut from the video? They did that lol
@@theHacksmith HA, thats AMAZING
Tyler's hiding spot was next level. Good job dude.
Now that right there is some quality content I love that video!
LETS GOOOOOO 6 MIN GANG FOR ONCE
Good job
I'm glad you are looking better and acting like you are truly enjoying this vid
Respect to the guy who hid straight in the fiberglass! I wouldn't do that for a million bucks!
this is definitely the coolest game of hide and seek I've ever seen.
that was some insane spots!!!! Wow...
This was a great video. That's quite a compound you guys have.
Honestly the floor hiding space was incredible
JT’s hiding in plane sight was the best
Bruh i love how Tyler was: Hey bro, want some popcorn?
My choice in that year would be easy. Get a camo jacket and pants (and some good, dark boots) before the hide and seek. Then walk off into the wooded parts, find a good area that's hard to see from most if not all sides and lie down and just wait
The rule was company buildings and vehicles. The monster truck was bending the rules by taking a company vehicle far away.
@@jacky7204 it just said "fair game", not "You can't go there"
A little mud on top to hide from thermals crawl under a bush or brush pile, and then take a nap while earning that paycheck.
The rule was only in buildings. 18 acres is too much outdoors
@@theHacksmith so get that many ATV and cover it with camonet...
One of the best hide and seek videos i have ever seen
Best one yet
This was amazing! More companies need to do fun events like this. I can only imagine how much of an HR nightmare it would be for a group over 30 people, though.
I mean we're at 25 -- only a nightmare if you let it be a nightmare 😉
Giving people 2 days off to prepare was pretty expensive though! 😅 probably cost more in everyone's salaries than the actual prize!
Really love these videos! :D
You guys should do more games like this. They're entertaining and very low budget
WAKE UP, NEW HACKSMITH VIDEO JUST DROPPED
Holy crap, this was mental. these hiding spots are top tier, shows what grown up hide and seek can really be!
Those hiding spots are so cool!
Jt hiding in plain site got me dead😂😂
Thank you for your videos James...Love you guys...Respect from India, MUMBAI
James on the cyber quad and the cameraman has to run after him 🤣
Amazing hiding spots
new bucket list item unlocked
100% Bogden and Tyler Both of their hiding spots where so clean that the camera could not tell which is impressive! when Bogden took the wall off and came out it looked like he magically pushed a square out of it! Next, Tyler I love the genius behind his build/hiding hole, he used plain floor and tile to make his spot vanish like Bogden's! Lastly, I say 1 advantage Tyler has is maybe since he is in the ground and a little farther from the floor and cooler to soak up the building heat, so maybe over a longer time period the heat will show faster through the drywall then the floor hiding spot! Either way though I am impressed, no BS just a fun video for everyone to watch! feels like classic youtube, feels like home!
I miss watching your channel for hours on end, since your channel is the one the taught me a very important lesson I will always have a deep respect for everything done on your channel! I know what i'm doing for the next couple days!
Every single one of these people have got to have the best job in the world
Love the content!
Lets go team Bogdon...Hey James I look forward to seeing you some day in Canada!!!
Very fun to watch
Gotta give it to Logan. Surrounded by insulation for three hours. Brilliant! James even commented about how bad that would be for someone to hide in that.
I think Tyler's spot was the best, no one would have ever expected it and he didn't even need to get dirty
This was awesome
Some of those spots were nuts!! What a game!
JT was the best for me, hiding in plain sight was legendary
I think that the new guy Greg had the coolest hiding spot.😃
So fun! What a cool place to work
Ahhhh the main channel video! Awesome as always, they upped up their game after building a wall!
If you would need extra gear for future hide and seeks, my opinion for future projects is a robocop HUD (aside from the iron man project), probe droids, and some old school tricked out things like UV lights, magnifying glass, and maybe something with a eavesdropping device for the walls.
"you guys build me up too much" felt so sincere :D
We need a reaction video to see james’s reaction to how close he was to some people
