    try:
    in this case pure just means homozygous if we said thet the allele of being tall is T and short is t
    The pure tall is TT
    The pure short is tt
    all of the off spring is Tt (100%)
    when he self pollinate generation F1, he is doing Tt and Tt, with the punnett square we can see that we get the ratio 3:1

    At the initial state of his experiment how did he determine that the plant he was choosing was a pure breed 🙂
    Doesn't pure means both of its parent need to be TT & TT too
    Tt also gives us tall plant but its not pure 🙂

      Ig he saw the length of the plants . The one that were longer , had TT genotype . So that means it was a pure plant
