@@1995robin Interestingly enough I think this will do the most good in getting some people to really see how bad Joe is because as good as Penn Badgley voice is there will come a point where you will be forced to reckon with the horrible stuff (misogynistic, violent etc.) that Joe says - because the book narration is unforgivable.

He really memorized the joe voice, it sounds like the show.
his voiceover got so much better in the last season. he changed his manner of narrating and its the funniest.
I'd listen to 10-hour audiobooks with that voice.
What penn said about joe almost being like a feline makes complete sense!! I didn’t even know if it was intentional but throughout the show and especially in this season i noticed that joe has this puppy dog/black cat quality to him. Penn is amazing at making him feel almost naive and it’s so obvious in this season that that naive feline quality is part of why kate is so attracted to him. She treats him as such as well

I just cannot imagine anyone else as Joe except Penn Badgley, he is the Anti- Hero we caanot avoid. Anti-hero song is Joe's song in every way possible. 5:20 I know Joe is not the character one should be excited about but Penn is the reason I saw "You". He makes everything thrilling and mysterious in its own way. Hands down to seeing more of your work Penn.
