WIDE RAINBOW x LIBRARY

Wide Rainbow Library Project :
Inspiring libraries for our youth and families living in under-resourced communities.
In collaboration with Detroit based independent curator & arts educator Asmaa Walton of the Black Art Library and architect/design duo Melissa & Amanda Shin of the LA based firm Shin Shin we’ve been able to create x3 libraries for our community partners in Queens, Lower Manhattan, and the Bronx this school year. Each unique library is curated with over 100+ children's books sourced through the Brooklyn based independent bookstore Books Are Magic. These libraries are gifts to our families living in shelters and our youth in community centers where each library becomes a space for the imagination to run wild...
