One of my favorite movies and actors from the 80s and 90s, my favorite line from one of his movies is “ dishes are done man” 😂😂😂 classic!! I really think he would have been great in the burbs. Fantastic actor! Thank you and Keith for doing this.
That's my favorite line in Don't Tell Mom The Babysitter's Dead. lol 😄💖 plus with him and his Friends tossing the dishes up in the air and using them for target practice lol 😆💖
Keith Coogan is awesome!!! He was in some of my favorite childhood movies!!! Adventures in Babysitting ,Toy Soldiers, Dont tell mom the babysitters dead and Hiding Out
What a great person Keith Coogan is! I remember him in his portrayal of little Timothy MacKenzie when he was credited as Keith Mitchell. He was such a great child actor who made the successful transition to an extraordinary adult actor! I remember an interview where he announced he was changing his last name to honor his grandfather, Jackie Coogan and loved that! Talent, intelligence, handsomeness and warmth run in the family! Jackie Coogan was such a hero for everything he did for young child actors. Thank you for this vlog!
Adventures in Babysitting, Hiding Out, Toy Soldiers, Don't Tell Mom the Babysitters Dead were movies I grew up watching and loving. Keith was awesome in those. Also, I'm a huge Waltons fan most of my life and the Jeffrey/Rose/Stanley episodes were among my favorites!
Thank you so much, Jordan and Keith! I saw this movie during its initial theater run with my best friend--the next day we trekked the halls of our high school singing, And Then He Kissed Me. I shared the movie with my family and friends and still enjoy it to this day. One of the few films that everyone who sees it loves and enjoys. :)
I love that movie! I am also a life long Little House on the Prairie fan and that is where I first remember seeing Mr. Coogan. He played his part, Timothy, so well in the episode "Make a Joyful Noise".I will be sharing this video in my Little House groups I am in. I know everyone will love it.
Jordan also has a previous video of Keith Coogan with Joanna Cassidy on "Don't Tell Mom the Babysitter's Dead." It is a fantastic video and I would highly recommend it.
Loved this movie, Keith is a great storyteller. Thanks for taking us along with you on another great adventure. Jackie was great actor loved in in the Our Gang series as this is what I grew up with.
Hi Jordan thank you for sharing I have this movie on DVD, from a book sale at locust Grove here in the Louisville area. This is a good one👍😎 awesome.🎥🎞️✌️
More stories, PLEASE! Thanks Keith for this amazing trip down memory lane, now I need to find the movie & watch (I don't have Disney+). Thank you, Jordan for your interview, he was so nice! I have to get to that restaurant some day! I remember big red booths, candles on the tables & the dark paneling on the walls, in places growing up. I miss those days!!! 👍👍
I wonder if Keith would ever talk about his time on The Walton's with Judy Norton? Judy has a wonderful RUclips channel, I believe it's called, Behind the Scenes of the Walton's, With, Judy Norton. I enjoyed the time he was on there with Peggy Rea (wonderful actress!)!?!
In my top 5 Movies of All Time, non-stopped played it for YEARS in my household growing up!!! Just showed my 5 & 7 yr old the movie the other day now they wont stop asking me to rewatch it with them! CLASSIC!!!❤
Gosh! SO good to see Keith again! My favorite Waltons episodes are the ones with Jeffrey...Keith was brilliant in that part. Apple doesn't fall far from the tree! Why Keith didn't hit the A list...🤷 Great actor. Thank you Jordan for this chat with Keith. Wonderful 💪❤
OMG I LOVE KEITH COOGAN FANTASTIC VLOG JORDEN , YOUR SO LUCKY TO SIT WITH SUCH A SWEET GUY , AND WHO DIDNT LOVE HIS GRANDFATHER IN THE ADAMS FAMILY , JACKIE COOGAN , WHAT A LEGACY ❤, SO COOL TO SIT AND LISTEN TO HIM , THK YOU SO MUCH LOVE N HUGS FROM JERSEY TO YOU AND LIL JAH ❤🐾🐾💋💋
Fantastic Vlog Sir. This is one of my personal favorite movies and it's great to hear insights from someone in the movie and Keith is a legend. For whatever the reason neither the dvd nor blu-ray contains any extras or behind the scenes anything about the film so this is a treasure. Thank you so much 👏👍🙏
classic cute movie my favorite 🎥🎥 this so cool my birthday an a great video . This is going to be an awesome day . i love Elisabeth Shue . it was cute in the movie Keith's character had a crush on Elizabeth an one of favorite songs be my baby Ronnie Spector great soundtrack Thank you Jordan for a great knocked out of park🎉
While i loved Elisabeth in the movie, she's always been my favorite thing sbout it, i do wonder how it would have turned out if either Phoebe Cates or Valerie Bertinelli had been cast instead like Keith mentioned? It probably could have worked with either of them as they're both beautiful and could believably play babysitters. Valerie is the one that's really intriguing.
GREAT INTERVIEW BRO....SALUTE....Elisabeth Shue WAS AMAZING AND SUPER HOTTTTT IN THIS FILM!!!!!!!! ADVENTURES IN BABYSITTING IS A CLASSIC AND DEFINITELY IN MY TOP 10 ALL TIME GREAT MOVIES!!!!!!!💯💯🙏🙏💙💙💙💙⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️🇺🇸🇮🇹🇺🇸🇮🇹
I abosolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE this flick. What I'm trying to wrap my head around is how could all of those people be at that party with the HUGH windows and not ONE person notice the little girl hanging from the ledge outside? Just to be clear I do realize it's a movie..but dang!..were they that drunk??🤣😆
I do sometimes wish the movie had a different title. Adventures In Babysitting to me implies that it's likely a) a movie for kids and b) a movie for girls. The remake almost proves this. While the original Adventures In Babysitting has things kids of a certain age enjoy it's not really a kids movie, and while girls do love this movie it has a ton of things that relate to boys as well like the Playboy magazine and having a crush on an older pretty girl.
Seen for the 1st time in 21 or 20 on Disney+, fell in ❤ with it right away now have on DVD, love the cast don't know who stole the show the most out Elisabeth Shue & Penelope Ann Miller as far as the female lead, Penelope's so talented & different from everyone stills the show & all her scenes in her other stuff, remember seein Kindergarten Cop for the 1st time like it was yesterday to this day & that was the 1st exposure to her ❤ the ring of fire scene from The Shadow cause its like a Marylin Munroeish look to it, but she's an amazing incredible phenomenal talent
This was a great interview! I saw him in Little House as Timothy and then on the last couple seasons of the Waltons....he is very memorable, kind of like Kim Richards…to me she will always be Olga from Little House. I saw Adventures in Babysitting when it came out, it was a double feature along with Jaws 4. We loved Adventures in Babysitting, Jaws 4 not so much.
Brilliant, I didn't know about Keith being kin to Jackie. Makes so much sense. I Keith more on Don't tell mom. Because he was the direct opposite as her character on Babysitting. The dishes are done dude!
My grandfather told me a story about him meeting Jackie Coogan during his time in the military during WWII and he said Jackie stuck out his hand to shake his and said" shake the hand that held the c__k that scr___d Betty Grable" .
Nobody leaves without singing the blues!
Take the Brady Bunch upstairs!!!
